    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

HI everyone!!!
Im looking to make a purchase off of JONATHAN BENSON on kingsnake.com.Has anyone ever bought anything off of him is he a good guy or a bad guy? Any helpfull INFO would be greatly apprieciated.

I actually went thru with my deal with him i can say im very satisfied with my 3 snakes but he didnt ship on the day he was supposed to and the next day i kept calling him about shipping out and he kept giving me the run around at about 8 o clock pm i called and he said he was at the airport dropping them off now.
I called him and asked him to send me a price list it took him 4 days but he finally sent it and he had some turtles on it was interested in and he went on to tell me they are this much for this many and he also had some b grades and his actual words were they are only missing 1 leg once i heard that and from the shipping experience i decided i wouldnt be ordering from him again.
Just saying my experience hope if someone else decides to deal with him its a good one!!!!!!!!!

I totally forgot to mention that pretty much everything he sells is WC by him in either the area were he lives in south carolina and when he goes on herping trips.I dont know if its legal to do i would like to know because i was told by another man that goes out and catches all his animals for sale in SC that its not illegal at all.

1st. You say your very satisfied with your three snakes you recieved from him.

2nd. (then) You say he gave you the runaround.

3rd You requested a price list from him, and you complain that it took 4 days for you to receive it. (Maybe he was busy? and couldn't drop everything to respond more quickly to you?

4th. And then you make an accusation because of the wild-caught animals he sells is illegal because a friend,(who you don't identify) told you that he goes out and catches snakes which is illegal in South Carolina?
Sheesh, you go from satisfied with your 3 snakes, to accusing him of being un-ethical?

You sir, is what I call a BAD customer, i.e., you can't be pleased, no matter what service you recieve.
 
Ok what i said was that i was satisified with my snakes just not with his customer service and i dont know were you get off calling me a bad customer.I was just statinghow my transaction went with him i wasnt saying he was a bad guy i was just saying i didnt like his customer service and the fact that his animals are WC ( which i didnt find out till after i got my snakes) So if you think im a bad customer then so be it SORRY.
FYI im not a SIR i am a mother of 4 kids.
 
Ok Well I really do not remember what snakes that i sold to Shelby Perkins. I sell alot of reptiles each and every year on the internet and at Reptile shows. I usually can make shipments on time with some customers but seeing how i own my on buisness and i am the only one that does any and all dealings, sometimes things happen to where i cant ship out but on a certain date or where i cant get out a shipment on the exact time that was originally stated. No body is perfect and we all make mistakes but also things happen. Shelby being a mother of 4 kids then im sure you know what its like for things not to go as planned.

WELL SO FAR THIS IS THE ONLY 2 BOI THAT ARE NEGATIVE AGAINST ME COMPARED TO THE DOZENS OF PEOPLE THAT I SELL AND SHIP TO EVERY YEAR. I NEVER GET COMPLAINTS AND I ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE CUSTOMERS ARE SATISFIED. SHELBY YOU SHOULD HAVE CALLED ME AND MADE YOUR COMPLAINT INSTEAD OF FALSLY TRYING TO RUIN MY NAME OVER A REPTILE CLASSIFIED AD.

Actually, I believe "Mrs Perkins" registered during a period when John was banned...that would explain why that account is banned, as well - it was created to bypass the revokation of John's privileges.
 
Response in my defense.

I remember what the transaction was now. Mr. Perkins bought a trio of Adult Red Belly Water Snakes from me. Yes they were wild caught but they were very nice looking specimens. Instead of sending me a normal paypal payment he sent it as an E-Check, which took several days to clear.

As soon as it cleared I was out of town and could not ship. I got back a couple days later and packed the snakes up and on my way back out of town I shipped them off at a Fed-Ex at an Airport. He called me that Friday before I could ship and wanted to know what was going on with the shipment.

I told him I was at the fed ex office to ship and they didn't except cash so I was on my way to grab a money order to ship and as soon as I told him that he got very rude with me and said If I didn't ship today then to just refund him his money and I assured him he would get his shipment.

So he got his shipment and he still has something bad to say. If he would have just sent the paypal payment normally not through some Echeck then he would have received the snakes the week before.

So theres the whole story and thanks for reading.

No Its just that I had someone the other day make a statement to me about a BOI about me on fauna. Just trying to clear it up. Do you not have anything better to do MiStyc.? You never posted on here before about what happened and now you comment on two BOI's Sounds like your bored.

Ok, first, if you're going to bitch about me posting on your threads get my name spelled right. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to read and type what is there. Thanks!

Second, You dredged these threads up yourself, and if I want to post on them, I can. You decided to bring a 3 year old thread up because you "suddenly remembered" what happened. Sounds fishy to me. You posted in this thread before and couldn't remember what happened then, but all of a sudden you can now. :shrug01: Suuuure....

Third, I'm not bored. If I was, then I would have dredged up any thread, and any information that I could find about you and linked it to your thread.

Fourth, if you don't like me posting on the BOI, that's your problem, not mine. I can post on any thread I damn well want. I don't need your permission. :)
