    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This guy, Joseph Burleigh needs to be removed from having access to classified ads, specifically from commenting or sending messages to sellers. There is no room in the Herp Community for bitter teenagers or anyone else looking at classified ads just so he can send them a private message, trying to hide his identity and telling people how crappy their animals are, how his are way better, that the sellers animals are not legitimate and making statements to "Stop Embarassing Yourself" because my stuff is way better. Looking over all of his posts, it is obvious that this is a common practice for this person. People are struggling right now with this economy and are sacrificing many animals that they had no intention of parting with. The last thing we need is Joseph's opinion, when it was never asked for in the first place. It is also obvious from his postings that all of the "supposed" animals that he says he has, do not exist. I will not tolerate this garbage and neither should any other person selling animals. If you don't want to buy them, then don't. We don't need you to flap your trap. Here's his friendly message to me. Keep in mind that I have never heard of, met or seen this kid. I'm sure he has some personal friends on here that can validate whether or not he has this amazing collecting of Bullsnake Morphs:

I have better Miami Countys, BY FAR !! they were not too hard to find. They were not nearly as expensive and, if you were someone that had been working with these animals for a little while, would be able to tell EASILY, they your animals are not Locality Silver and Black Miami countys, they are in fact " Run of the Mill " axanthics.

I have Miami County's, i have Stillwaters, i have Kingsville Reds, i have Newton County's (wild caught) all locale specific. I also have Axanthics, Kingsvill/Stillwater crosses , Snows, Albino's, Hypo's.

Others have tried to be more subtle than I. You have some nice animals, do some more research, stop embarassing yourself.

Fauna needs to remove people like this and I'm sure other sellers would agree. Just remember Joseph, your actions have consequences.

Look, I've been working with herps a long time. The last thing I need is some kid sending me messages telling me how shitty my animals are and that his are so much better. I'm finding posting elsewhere if this behavior can not be controlled. There is NO PLACE for this garbage.
 
You can track my history anywhere and not find a single thing insulting someone. If the animal they have advertised isn't for me, than fine. Go to the next ad. Why take the time to private message someone just to talk trash? I don't get it. Everyone has something to prove.

I understand you are upset, maybe more than necessary, but that's just my opinion; but you may want to resist the urge to use profanity when posting. They don't take kindly to it around here. ;)
 
I apologize on the profanity. I don't use it at all as you can see in all of my comments. I refrain from it but this kid has me worked up and this is exactly why there continues to be such a stigma attached to reptile keepers.

He didn't but he had a mini meltdown in it...and it certainly wasn't clear at whom it was aimed.

To the OP - I can't stop him from PMing you, but he can no longer post in people's ads........neither can you, though.
 
From what I can tell, the username linked hasn't posted since 5/5/11, so I am assuming this is about pm's only.
 
In which ad of yours did he post? I'd like to take a look at his comment (sorry -working from my phone right now, and the search process is rather tedious.
