Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Josh did send me pictures of his "wild caught" breeding pair.
Here's the female bells. She laid the clutch. According to Josh, this picture was taken by his wife. My vision isn't what it used to be but this female resembles a dead male bells?

I apologize my original post was in a format that does not render it "solid" proof but it is a factual exchange between Josh and I. I have an honest interest in obtaining this species. I saw an opportunity and I inquired about the animals. Very quickly something didn't seem quite right. So I decided to continue the email exchange to see if my hunch was correct.
By this time others "TreeCroc" had brought this to spot light and after I saw the BOI created I decided my exchange with him was relevant to post.
Where I might not share the same approach as TreeCroc and he didn't address it in the appropriate location (should have brought up in BOI initially) I can share in his opinion that this individual is not selling or offering what he claims.
I responded to Josh after his last email the other night and I received yet another email where his demeanor suddenly changed again. He states he didn't mean to respond the way he did as he thought he was emailing someone else. I will attach a screen shot of that exchange in a moment.
So through all of this I ask of Josh King to supply two things:
1.) That you actually have adult Lace Monitors (take a photo with a piece of paper with today's date,, your name, etc.... written in it with Lace in photo). Very simple to do if you have actual possession of them.
2.) That you actually have hatchling lace I ask you to do the same thing as above for an adult but do the same with one or more of the babies.

Apology for the lace monitors
My name is Joshua King. A couple weeks ago my wife and I took a short notice getaway after I returned home from being gone with work for several months. I had a long time friend of mine stay at our house to take care of the dog and my monitors. Upon returning home we realized this person had stolen a flat screen tv and several of my monitors and lighting and other equipment for my monitors. This of course upset me but after doing some more looking noticed he had used my name on fauna and my fb page in an attempt to try and sell some lace monitors in an attempt to scam some more people out of money. I also noticed several people had called him out realizing he was lying but proceeded to argue and lie some more to these people. I'm a very very sorry that this happened and personally apologize to anyone who had to deal with this lying pathetic excuse of a human being. The police were obviously called and this person was taken into custody at his mothers home still n possession of all the equipment but the monitors and tv were already gone. He's still in jail and has his first court date tomorrow which I will be sitting in the front row for. I truly apologize for this and deeply regret befriending this person. So again I apologize to anyone and everyone who had to deal with this person and can guarantee this will not happen again.

Classic!!! Not only did this thief use Josh's Facebook and fauna accounts but also used his cell phone to text me.
The writing style in his letter to Lucille and texts to me are very similar. I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

Well that didn't last long, Josh's thread which Lucille posted above has already been deleted. lol
I guess Josh realized how implausible all that nonsense was and thought he could delete it before anyone took notice.
It's interesting that the imposter "Josh" was replying to ads looking to trade "his" Lace monitors for other monitors. He wasn't trying to sell them, as Josh proposed in his failed attempt for an excuse. The trade route is an odd scam to pull off while house sitting for someone for two weeks.
Aside from all the accounts mentioned that were supposedly hacked, did your criminal friend also have your phone? I believe John Egan received text messages from Josh, which John posted above containing pics of his claimed Lace monitor pair.

I deleted the post, as it was a BOI-relevant thread/post in a non-BOI context. The classifieds are for ads and ad-related posts. I also informed the party in question that this would be the place to address matters contained in the content of that post. He is aware of this thread's existence.

If this is true then it would be easy enough for Mr. King to post proof of the court docket and arrest record of the "real" thief - if there is one.

I'd also like to know how the "thief" has able to use Josh's cell phone to send texts while Josh was on vacation? I'm assuming that Josh probably travels with his cell phone?

I see you are active on the classifieds forum. I was curious if you could provide us all with the findings of the court as it relates to the alleged thief/phone/computer hacker? Now that is January and the debacle stems back into November it should all be resolved now if in fact in did take place.
