In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

josh was very helpful in my purchase of a kinked orange ghost. i bought it as a pet for my boyfriend and i was well aware of its problem. he was very helpful with me because i could only pay with postal money order. he waited for the payment to arrive and then waited another week before sending it because we were having issues with fedex not shipping to a house location. we got it settled and i had a friend pick it up from the fedex location. he is lively and healthy and i am most impressed with him i plan on giving him to my boyfriend later today since his birthday was last wednesday. josh is a great guy and i would not hesitate at all to purchase from him again. he is very helpful and understanding. great customer service:thumbsup: they have a new customer out of me. i look forward to buying from them again at some point:D

sigh its not mine. my boyfriend moved up to sacramento and he is here visitng me. he is taking it back up to sac with him as a pet.he only wanted one snake. its not genetic either it was caused by temperature i was told... it happens. i have my own healthy snakes to breed

Keep telling yourself that and eventually you'll believe it, but you'll be the only one.

ok fine i will cuz i know its true. you know i dont want us to be on bad terms from before i shouldnt have been an ass but its not illigal to buy a kinked snake as pet quality for a gift for someone close to me.

Should just keep things like that to yourself? nobody likes kinkers but it does happen, dont bother me but personnally people can buy or sell whatever ,but this topic always gets a rise from people so why post it.

people already know i bought the kinked snake listed from them already so why not list it as the kinked one and try to avoid the whole breeding crap. i went through that once and got it semi cleared up. for gosh sakes i went through so much karma crap for buying it. i dont want people to think i bought it to breed and avoided telling them it was kinked, i wanted to avoid the whole breeding bad karma stuff

Actually I have only made two transactions with Outback Reptiles They where made this year @ The Richmond Reptile Expo I was dealing with Mike Schultz ( Mike my sincerest apologies if I mis-spelt your last name) Mike was very informative and knowledable and even though he was interacting with several customers at one time he had time to answer all questions and was able to give you the basic care knowledge of the animal you were obtaining from them. I have delt with Josh via Email I know he probaly got tired of sseeing my email addy in his inbox But he always was able to give me an answer to a question or more info on an animal I was inquireing about. I would do business with Outback Reptiles again without hesitation and I would recomend them to EVERYONE as Outback Reptiles is known for going above and beyond in there Customer Service The quality of there animals Speak for themselves.

So to Ian G, Josh, & Mike Keep up the Great Work Guys

so far this was my first transaction with outback reptiles and i can definantly say it will not be my last. i was very happy with the transaction we did.

I got a great animal from Josh at Outback. She is amazing and healthy. He was sure to only send her on a day that they temperatures were safe. I am very happy with how professional he is and will definitely order from Outback again.

Awesome! More genetically deficient animals in the gene pool!

Just curious if there is study that someone can point to that shows that kinks are caused by genetics.

I always thought they were caused by some type of trauma, either to the mother or egg. Or possibly poor nutrition, or husbandry, of the mother. In any case since others seem to know that it is definitely genetic I would loved to know where they found this information so I could read it.

Josh is a nice guy and was easy to deal with. I've purchased several snakes from them however my last purchase was an inexpensive hypo lavender male that for some reason died 17 days after the purchase. I sent him pictures, and asked for a refund or substitution however he said that since it was over 15 days he could not do anything. He offered to sell me another one and take away shipping however I had a bad taste in my mouth. I will not purchase from him again, however I would not necessarily recommend not purchasing from him as lower prices do come with some risk.

We have had no problems with Outback Reptiles. All of the guys that work there are great! We got to meet all of them at the Hamburg Show the other weekend. We got a black pastel male from them last year and this guy is doing great. He is big and beautiful. We picked up a breeder normal female from them at the Hamburg Show the other week. She is doing good and putting food down like there's no tomorrow. We will be purchasing more snakes from them again here soon. Ian and Josh and the rest of the guys are great!

I recently purchased 2 snakes from Josh at The Hamburg show on 6/12. I was weary cause of all the posts i had read but i have nothing but positive things to say. He worked out a wonderful deal with a trade and also on a retic i bought from him. They are both wonderfully healthy and have amazing appetites. They both ate great today!!!!! Thanks Alot Josh!! (BTW i was the one who traded the african rock and amazon tree boa and purchased the tiger retic)

Hey,
I just had my first order with Josh and everything went smoothly, 4 cave geckos / 4 Fat-Tails,everything seams fine for now, keeping in mind, they are WC's. They where supposed to be sent out Mon. for Tues. delivery, he called Mon. afternoon and left a message that due to high Temps on the East coast my lizards weren't going out until Tues., sure enough Wed. morning brite and early the lizards showed up, packed real good, cloth bags/shredded paper/styro lined.

I've made one purchase from Josh/Outback a few months ago. It was for a wild caught tokay morph. Personally, I would have preferred him to be a little more upfront/detailed about the condition of the animal (I would have been if I were the seller). HOWEVER, he did give me a great deal on the price, and the customer service was very good. And I've been in this hobby long enough to know what to expect when purchasing a wc tokay. The animal is now eating like a pig and gaining weight. So I have no real complaints and I'd purchase from them again.

I have read also kinks can be caused by temperature fluxtuations as well during incubation of egg's.
