Have you checked yet to see if there are any more bogus charges on your card?
squinn said:Basically Matt what he told me is once i put this charge in dispute that he couldn't issue a credit as once the dispute ran it's course the credit is issued by the card company, if he issued a credit a double credit would occur once the cardholder deemed it an invalid debt once he sent them the proper paperwork from the dispute. Does this sound rational?
ben siegel said:sounds accurate--the merchant has exclusive right to return the funds--it will automatically null the chargeback, and looks alot better for the merchant. Also the merchant can dispute the chargeback, and they will automatically get the funds returned to them. The chargeback can take a little while longer as well. If he rufunded your card, you would have the balance available much sooner. Also i would find out if you accrued any interest charges with the charge. Was it an even $1000?---sounds very fishy

I generally do not like to reply to negative or positive comments as it seems every wholesaler/importer has something bad to say about the next person in this business. I stopped listening to peoples dirty laundry about me and every one else a long time ago. It seems everyone owes money, everyone ships bad animals, everyone did this or did that. Granted some of it is valid but, a lot of this is just competitors wanting to trash their competition. In my opinion the larger distributors including myself are all good and all bad. Moving on..
I would like to post a brief explanation as to what happened with this charge. Everything Quinn's Dragon Ranch has said is true. His card was charged inadvertently. We do keep most of our customers credit cards on file. A pet store named Quinn's Pets made an order from us. Since the names are so close I pulled up the wrong credit card. The package was shipped to the address of the pet store who made the order. The credit card files are kept separate from the shipping addresses. (just how my invoicing system works). Anyway, the wrong persons card was charged. He called on Monday at 3pm and informed me he had already started a chargeback. I told him it would be quicker if I reversed the charge to his card but he had already started the chargeback so we both agreed to let the dispute run its course. Which I will not contest. Now I just have to worry about getting the Pet Store who received the animals to pay me. As of now no luck. In conclusion, Quinn's dragon ranch is getting a full refund, it was a mistake on my part nothing malicious and if he has any further concerns he may contact me.
