In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have not delt with the man personally but he has been in the reptile wholesale business for a long time according to Orlando Rodents.

That's cool i will still asked for specific photos of certain animals I'm interested in....and if it does go well I will order... By boss wanted me to check on them... maybe place a few small orders well he will not me .... thanks for the info

Well I'm very curious on some things they are selling and if they want the business I'm hoping they will...Ben seigel does wholesale and sends pics I'm not asking for pics of ridiculous things but if I order a few thousand dollars of animals and also want a few pics of some things like a "pink belly cb ball python" I would like to see it cause never heard or seen one....or there striped ball cb for $35 is it genetic is it a Dom,co Dom, res... Who produced it etc they are wholeselling het clowns for a really low price also... And if they are what they are I would like to buy a few thousand worth or balls for myself....

I have seen there handy work....

At some of the local Denver metro area reptile stores. If you like emaciated and wild caught be my guest. This was my over all impression when a few of the boxes were opened up that JP shipped to these stores.

hey guys, a good friend owns a shop here in jersey. we would buy wholesale together, and JP was one of the places to turn to when animals were hard to find. it NEVER turned out well...i think he owes me $400-$500 on dead arrivals alone. not to mention what he owes me on back orders. so i think its safe to say not a good choice to buy from him. oh and this was only after buying from him twice...didnt want anyone to think i wasn't practicing what i was preaching.

I got what I paid for

Its been a few year since I dealt with any importers, but I have dealt with JP Pets, US Global, Xtreme reptiles, and Strictly Reptiles. They are all very similar with their prices and quality. Most animals are usually either fresh born captive breds that haven't eaten yet or fresh imported wild caughts. They are all decent to buy from as long as you know how to de-worm, de-mite, and heal up wounds on wild animals. The captive borns were more difficult because they had been shipped around alot with no meals being offered yet. Some would eat quickly while others were too far gone to save. These suppliers are all moderate to low quality animals for moderate to low prices. They are great for cheap wild caught animals like anoles, green tree frogs, house geckos, etc but I wouldn't buy anything much higher priced from any of them any more. Any of them that are specializing in breeding specific animals are higher priced than most retailers, so their quality animals aren't worth looking at so far unless they get a bit less greedy in their pricing.

Pretty sure JP Pets is no more. When you attempt to pull up their site, you reach a page stating that their web address is for sale.

JP Pets is still around. I work for a shop that used to get orders from them. They have sent many dead animals with shipments. There was a decomposed turtle that was in a bad with 3 live. It was crushed and there was just a pile of goo left. It was dead for easily 7-8 days before being sent. I have also gotten CB Yellow Belly Ball Pythons that were not yellow bellies and they had ticks. Thanks

Joe,
Can you provide their current web address and/or contact info? Their old address "Jppets.com" is no more and is for sale. Please update me with their current info.

Thank you,

David Rivers

I have ordered from them 3 times in the past, 1st order seemed to be okay all the animals made it and never heard from any customers of them dieing. 2nd order they charged me $20 more then talked about. 3rd and final order half the pacman frogs I ordered died, blood python died the night of arrival, They still owe me $50 for the blood but id rather them keep it then take a chance on their animals again

JP PETS Owes me $1206.95

Hello everyone. I have purchased from them a few times and had very few problems until two weeks ago. I bought a large order from them and the animals were fine, BUT they double charged my account $1206.95. Once on the 6th of Dec and then again on the 8th of Dec. I know this happens and it has happened before to me and on me. My problem is not that.

My problem is that I contacted him on the 14th and he said he was sorry and would take care of it. Nothing. I have called and sent 10 e-mails and nothing, just a male saying that [he] is not here and we cannot do anything about it. My real problem is that is a bunch of money to tie up for a week and I need payroll Friday [Christmas Eve].

The number is (407) 320-7001 for their wholesale I cannot say that I recommend them or do not recommend them until this is settled. If you'd like, call the shop and ask for yourself before you buy anything from them. Thanx, Vinny Ferraiolo

Excuse me for laughing at the irony of that Vinny.

I think you take a risk with any wholesaler, no matter their reputation. Animals move in and out so much is tends to always be hit or miss. Go with your gut is what I would say.

A risk, yes but...

not with money being taken out of the account that was not authorized. I have seen all sorts of animals come in in all sorts of shape but I never had a wholesaler take out more than was authorized and not refund immediately.
