In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey guys so I was hoping to get your guys perspective on some of my upcoming plans and hopefully you can help me answer some questions I have as well.

For the past 3 years or so I have been breeding Leopard Geckos and I want to try something different something that not everyone in the world has so I am thinking about trying to breed Jungle Carpet Pythons or Honduran Milk snakes
The reason I chose these is because from what I have gather they are not super common but still common enough where breeders out there have worked out most of the kinks also both are not super expensive so if i mess it up my not out a ton of money and I have a female Jungle already. But the biggest thing on my mind is; Is there a pretty good market out there for both of these snakes (If i breed them am I going to be able to sell them fairly easily) because I don't want to breed them and sell one or two. So I guess what do you guys think is there the demand out there for them and is it worth my while to try it?

Also if you have any other species recommendations that would fit what im shooting for i'd love to hear them.

Thanks so much everybody
- Nick

I think both are fairly common, and IMO, in the current economy, nothing common is selling "easily". What it comes down to is working with a species you enjoy. If you approach it based on what is selling now, you are probably going to be disappointed.

Jungle carpet pythons are super common. A lot of people breed them. Their value ranges from $100 for a ugly jungle all the way up to $400 or $500 for a very nice jungle. I don't know anything about Milk snakes but I am sure they are pretty common as well. I know little kids that have Jungles. They are a very easy snake to take care of. They don't get large but they aren't small either. They get between 5 and 7 feet with large specimens getting 8 feet or so. Just get something that interest you, don't get into something for the profit. Unless you have a lot of cash to buy the best jungles out there then you probably won't make that much money. If you do want Jungles then a good website to learn about them would be Moreliapythons.com
