Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Don't know why the snake measurer isn't working for you. Mine works just fine. Maybe try downloading and reinstalling? You sure you're doing it right? If it still don't work, I'll give you a link to the one I use. I keep it on the server in case I have a mishap with my PC.

Using your lighter as a gauge, I get 44.1144 inches.

Nice looking critter too. Can't believe that in 30 plus yrs of keeping Boa, I never had a rainbow in my care. Always admired them for their beauty, but never enough to get one I guess. :shrug01:

Thanks man! I was guessing he was near the 4 foot mark by now. They really are a nice species, though this is my first so I have quite limited experience still, and the humidity requirements require some vigilence, esp. while he is still in a tank. Very manageable for me, being so small (and still bite-shy lol). Temperment has always been on the shy side, just a little jumpy when he's hungry lol. The pic doesn't really show his colors well, the color and pattern was what drew me to this species initially.
The file is downloading fine in zip format, but when I unzip it, it only opens as a folder of several other files of unknown extentions. File types are showing only 2 character extentions for file type, and it can't identify the program to open the files with. I did successfully run the setup program, but it dumps me back in windows, can't get the program to open.
 
Interesting. Charles Pritzel is a member here, I believe he wrote it. He'd be the one to talk to about it. His user name is serpwidgets I believe.

The file he has is the same size and everything as the one I have, same files inside too. Did you uninstall, before reinstalling? :shrug01:
 
Yep. Same results on the initial install and the reinstall after uninstallation :shrug01:
Well thx for using yours for me. I'm sure it's a little off, the pic is slightly at an angle, but I really just wanted to make sure his growing was in the normal range.
