    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just a quick hello!

I thought I was already on this site as I am on a number of other reptile sites, but my attempt to login failed, no clue what the password might have been, and my name was free, so I've registered again! I've been around reptiles most of my life, but hadn't kept any since I was a kid. About six years ago, I met a pair of beardies and was fascinated by them. They liked me too, and I started looking for info on dragons. A little over three years ago, I met Fibonacci, about one year old, and in desparate need of a good home. At this moment, there are 37 beardies in the house with Fib in the center of it all! :rolleyes: Somebody said they are like Pringles, and it is true!:yesnod:

Indeed!!! Jump right in!

Please post pics of your set ups soon. I would like to know how that many are kept successfully. I have only one Gecko at the moment and have wondered about the beardies. Some people make it seem sooo easy!

Hi Deborah!

All of my adults and juvies (10) are individually housed, two tanks at 36w,16d,various height, all other 48w,13-24d, again with varying heights and Seshat's cube, 24w,24d,24h. Only the babies from Astarte's 3 clutches, (gravid when I bought her) 27 still here, born between July 12 and August 19, are housed in 6 groups of 5, 4, 2, 2 groups of 3, and the youngest from mid-August as a group of 8. Two are housed as individuals as they have been aggressive, showing a wish to do some sibling nibbling and are no longer safe with their brothers and sisters. When I find all the homes I need for the babies, I think I'll be at a household total of 14. I will be buying my own home within the next few months here, and space for the dragons is a priority. I have photos on my new website, although there are very few shots of them in their tanks. Is it alright to post links to other sites here? If so, I will add the link in a reply. In any case, I know some people have successly housed dragons together with out problems but I have read so much on the risks and the tragedies that have occurred, that I have not and will not house mine together. I know my boys would seriously attempt injury or death to each other, and even having two of my very gentle females out of their tanks together has seemed a little iffy. I don't intend any uncontrolled breeding, as some males will badger, stress, injure and possibly kill the females in continual breeding attempts. As I said, I know some people house them together, but these are my reasons for housing mine individually. I hope this give you a start on what I'm doing with 37 dragons!:rofl:

Wow...I can totally imagine a room full of beardies. The only way I could keep one is if I found a tank completely perfectly set up with the light and everything. I have heard so much about MBD that having one terrifies me. A Leopard Gecko seemed much easier by comparison.

Yep, you can post a link to your website, or if it's in your profile, direct people there. or have it in your siggy.
