    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello everyone,
Couldn't figure out where I should post this so if any of you grumpy old moderators want to move it thats fine with me, lol.

Ok so I have been breeding ball pythons for several years and just recently decided to sell off my entire collection to pay for my Wife to go back to school. I have really enjoyed being a part of Fauna and I am very thankful for all the great friends that I have met during my snake venture. I am now out of business and will be shuting down my website soon.

You all have really been there for me throughout my journey and there are no words to show how much I really appreciate all your help and support. This has been one of my greatest experiences of all time. Although my website will be shut down I have decided to leave my videos up for everyone to watch on my YouTube page.

I wish each and everyone of you the best of luck with whatever you do. Thank you all for your friendship.

Josh I admire your sacrifice and hope your wife does well at school. But you don't have to say goodbye.
Many people including the owner of the site do not presently own snakes yet participate here and maintain their friendships. Plus, speaking of education, if you have been an owner and breeder you have so much to offer in the way of advice from time to time for new owners coming into the hobby. Stick around :)

I will check in every once in a while just to see what is going on in the herp world and possibly throw my two cents in on a couple of threads here and there. But my time now belongs to my Wife, all four of my kids, and our horses. I never realized how much time I spent on my snakes and on the internet looking at forums like this one to try and help people or to learn things. The other day my 5 year old daughter told me that she is very happy that I am able to play with her so much now, and my heart just sunk. I still have several people calling me and emailing me with questions about ball pythons. And I am always happy to help anyone if I can. I am just making my family my top priority and staying off the computer for the most part. Thanks for the comment. I will come around from time to time just because you asked :)
 
Good luck with your recovered life. I fully understand what you are talking about. I loved my animals and all that, but my God they were all consuming of both mine and Connie's time.
 
Good luck...totally understand the need to reclaim your life.
