    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

well apparently this worked..normally he shoves his 6-9 adds to the top everytime some one post a animal up that he feels threatened by..

Perhaps the chronic ad abusers have seen the two threads on the topic of this problem and have mended their ways?

11 posts in a row by the pRickster, then 31 by mike cole...a 3 post per day limit in each section looks real good and seems fair to everyone that wants to post an occasional ad or 2 every now and then.
 
I don't have a problem with the idea of limiting the number of ads posted per day - either in the forum based, or in the alternative classifieds - but I don't think an across the boards limit is fair, either. Why should somebody that pays a $25 membership fee get the same advertising benefits as you, who pays 4x that amount, Ed? If limits are to be put into place, then they should be tiered; but then people would still be griping because Rick is an Endowment Level member and would be able to post more ads than most.
 
Well, I've gotten complaints because the classifieds aren't used enough. And now some are complaining because some are using it (in their opinion) TOO much.... :rolleyes:

Seriously I wish ALL the forums here were being used TOO much.....

So 20 posts in a row in retaliation for another members 13 posts in a row in your opinion is acceptable? I'm not looking to cause you any more grief than the site already causes Rich, but you are an intelligent man, can you honestly and with a straight face not see why some people, myself included, might think there is a problem/abuse of the areas?

Eddie has individual animal posts too. I do not complain.....It is an open forum. I think if you don't like it go to KS......This forum is up to Rich! Not I nor you. I pay $250.00 .....jump in and help Rick with his site! I used my bumping privilege today but I did not bump up free. And I did not bump up yesterday at all.

What's wrong Rick, problem with myself and other expressing our opinion? You think spending Joe's money for three coins next to your name entitles you to your opinion but no one else can say anything? Don't try and compare an occasional bump for a friend with the spamming that you and a select few others do nearly every day. Think of it this way, if you weren't spamming the forum then others wouldn't need to "bump" a post to pull it up from page 3. By the way, agreeing with yourself in your posts doesn't mean you are right and makes me wonder who is really acting like a fifth grader. :rolleyes:

I have no problems what you or others do! Just pointing it out. Thought it was funny. do it again. Don't care.
I use my money I do not need to lean on someone else with deep pockets. Never have never will. I do not SPAM....each post has a "special" morph for sale....just like some others. Believe me I am here to sell not to complain. My posts are locked. I do not want others to bump me up free. You wish to do so do it! I am happy to sell clean and mite free animals.......No imports are in my facility. Quality morphs only. :thumbsup:
