Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

just getting into morphs, need help

Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to snake keeping and I don't know much past names of some morphs. I stumbled across leopards a few weeks ago and fell in love with them, and since I'm not really a fan of the general patterning and coloration most boas have I'm trying to get one.

I've been checking out here and kingsnake a lot, but the ones people have been posting are generally lighter colored. I'd really like to get something like this:http://www.leopardboas.de/assets/ima...opard_Boa1.jpg

My main question would be do they get darker when they get older? When I first started snooping around I feel like I read that somewhere but can't seem to find much definitive talk about them anywhere. Also please share any info you have on them if you feel so inclined!
 
I know Blumen Boas has been working with leopards, with their eclipse and hypo eclipse boas. They have some info on their site about genetic crosses, but I'm not sure if they have the sort of information you've mentioned. Might be worth a look.

I haven't done anything with leopards yet. Just getting into snows, moonglows, and jungles. Best of luck to you!
 
thanks! i may be picking up a leopard female and a het leopard male very soon. i've never done any breeding yet so i'm very excited!
