    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This isn't the BOI so 'defend' is a pretty strong word. But it would be cool to see updates as too any progress being made or some more details on how this might affect shipping thru them.

I have a feeling they will not be giving the o.k. Usually warnings are issued beforehand, and that never happenend. I think it is over and from what I see, it is possible they were not allowed to ship snakes. And since Robyn was viewing this and didn't even comment as to say, yes we were, blah blah blah, we are working on it. He didn't even say anything, so I have to ask, why?

Good post.
I would like to think that people's respect wouldn't be bought out by the additional discount to use SYR, but as of late it I would almost expect it..
 
This blows, I was just closing two deals, but both sellers use shipyourreptiles.

It would be super shady if they never had the go ahead to ship snakes in the first place, being as a snake is their SYR logo & they knew we were shipping snakes through their service.

I'd be really angry if that was true.
 
I have to trust Robyn and Rich Z on the contract to ship snakes via UPS. Buried somewhere on this forum the contract got called into question early on and Robyn allowed Rich to see the contract to calm the masses.

My question is I know this is a pilot/beta program but if the contact is so high in UPS why can they not drop the bomb from on high that shipping snakes under certain circumstances is allowed? Fed Ex personnel were stubborn too but a few calls to station managers over a few months greased the wheels and now most if not all know you can if it is noted on your account.

Is this true? Where is a link. I was not impressed by Robyn's statement at all. I think he could have very easily sent some issues to rest, and he chose not to.
 
UPS is all over the place when it comes to shipping snakes.
Some people (Bob Clark for one) are allowed to ship snakes via UPS and they clearly mark that there are snakes in the box.
It all depends on who you are and who you know to get a waiver to ship snakes.
DHL/Airborne used to specifically prohibit snakes BUT you could get a waiver. I know because I had one before I switched to Fed Ex.
Best bet is to get certified with Fed Ex while this gets sorted out with UPS and SYR.

Yes, this is true. It is buried in a long thread about SYR either in the shipping forum or the BOI. I am on my phone right now so I'm not going to try to dig it up. Maybe once I get home.
 
So we are pretty much still in the dark.

That is not precisely accurate. Robyn called me on the phone and read the contract aloud to me over the phone. I have never actually SEEN their contract with UPS itself.
