• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just out of curiosity

How can someone leave feedback on you twice for one transaction? Once a neutral,then three months later a negative when you had no additional experiences with this person minus warning a friend not to do business with them. Haven't been on fauna much,actually just noticed this bs.
Check my user rating,it should be painfully obvious what I am referring to. It's bs,and should be erased.

Anyway,maybe a moderator or soemone could clear that up for me..
Thanks

Yeah, I noticed that on another persons feedback. He was responding to someone who made a bad guy post about him, and his reply was polite and made sense, so I checked his feedback rating and there were 4 different negative comments made all on the same day by the same guy. Needless to say it made it obvious that the OP was actually the bad guy.

Don't know how they would keep people from doing that though. places like ebay can make it so you only post about the one actual transaction, but that is because the transaction originated on that site. Here you can post your experiences with the seller/buyer based on transactions from multiple places; ads here, ads on KS, purchases from expos, etc. so don't know how they would regulate it.

FWIW, people reading your feedback will probably figure out that the posts are from the same person and therfore probably overkill, like I did with the person whom I checked.

Actually went and checked yours. It's obvious to anybody that his is just a negative reply to your feedback rating, and people would be able to realize that.
So I really wouldn't worry about it. That said, however...anybody checking may look on his feedback and you just say he's a fraud, or he's a scam....I already forgot, but really no explanation or anything, so people may also wonder where you were coming from on your end.
