    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Even though I think I did everything right, I will be nervous until she gets to NJ. This pic is about 2-3 weeks old. She's really pretty and I'm sure her new owner Lou will enjoy her. I'm still nervous. I think I'll stay up all night tracking the package on the web. That's normal right?

Oh i was exactly the same way when i first shipped mine. I did the same UPS tracking ALL night literally to watch the progress. Then it got all screwed up cause the lady gave me the wrong address!! It took TWO days to ships so think about how worried i was!...lol...But it ended up there fine and he is still doing great. Don't worry about it, the gecko will be fine! But i don't blame you for sitting clicking refresh every 10 seconds on the tracking screen!...lol!
 
Yeah, it is normal, but just wait til the sellers remorse kicks in. Don't you wish we could just keep them all! :shrug01:
 
FYI the updates are not ALWAYS real time. I have had things in the center of the country, and then out for delivery, so try not to sweat it too much!

Nice gecko BTW, bet it was hard to let go
 
I do the same thing when I am receiving geckos - haven't shipped any yet. Tracking all night followed by pacing and checking the driveway all morning! At least on the receiving end I know exactly when they arrive! :)

She is very pretty - I'm sure she'll enjoy her new home!

I do that when I ship and receive, the only part I hate is waiting up allll night to know it got there safe then still not being able to sleep even knowing it did lol
 
The first times I shipped I used to get that sick feeling in my stomach all day untill the customer would receive the box. Then I'd be fine after that. Now when I ship I don't even worry, well still a little.

shipping anxiety

I think we all know the feeling you are experiencing. We (and the geckos) are at the mercy of the shipper until they are in the hands of the customer, and it makes for a lousy night's sleep! I have been shipping leos for a long time, and I still get that anxious feeling in the pit of my stomach when the UPS truck drives away. I track the shipments in the mornings even before I have my coffee!!!

Just got the e-mail, she arrived in great shape...Whew!!
 
I am going on my fourth year of shipping/receiving geckos, and I get that feeling in my stomach every single time I ship/Receive
