    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

just wanted to show you pitbull lovers this

Ah, that is indeed sad.

But then, Walmart has shown their ignorance and lack of decency in the way they treat their HUMAN employees, sadly I'm not surprised.

Passed this on to many, thank you.

A couple of weeks ago our Walmart was selling fish with hearts tattooed (spelling?) on them, so really this doesn't surprise me at all. They really are ignorant.

I am the sort of person who rarely endorses litigation, and consider most such lawsuits to be frivilous attempts at cashing in on a bad experience.
In this case though, if I were that person, I would most certainly be filing suit against walmart as a corporate entity. If for nothing else than to donate the settlement proceeds to a service dog entity to help pay for dogs and training for those who might not be able to afford it.

Walmart blatantly violated laws which are in place to protect the disabled. As far as I'm concerned a written apology from a multi billion dollar company isn't adequate.
Such a lawsuit would also provide a very good precedent in future issues of service animals in general and pit bulls in particular.
Owners of the so called "dangerous breeds" have a lot in common with us as snake keepers. Their animal of choice is the constant victim of ignorance, and all too often unfairly sterotyped as being dangerous by default.

How Unfair Is That! She Definatly Needs To File Suit. This Is Our Late Kiara(blue Pit), We Loved Her So Much And Miss Her Dearly! She Was Poisoned Christmas 2005 :(

Man, what the h#ll is wrong with this country? That poor woman should take them to court for 2 reasons. One it is just discrimination to her and her beloved pet{and bodyguard}; and also it would be nice to see the publicity it would receive and let people see what great animals they are. I breed pit bulls and I luv'em to death. I think the show "The Dog Whisperer" is great because it's the only program that shows how calm and loving AND controllable the dogs can be. Check out my website and don't get upset about the name; I don't participate in illegal activities. Take care all!! John @ seekanddestroykennel.com :thumbsup:

sad

This does not surprise me either. Cathy you are so correct about how they treat the employees.I have a friend that worked for them and they teated him like crap.Clay i agree with you also.She should hit them where they will remember this situation for years to come. Now here is our staff/pit male and our pit female aka our killers.

teated= treated lol

GRRRRR. I have read about this too, and posted it on CL a few times. People are ignorant.

My pit.. is dumb as a box of rocks. but smart too.. any pit owner knows how that goes. HA HA HA.

but he is SWEET as can be!!! as almost any pit I have ever met was.

I wish there was something we could do to educate people. but people dont want to listen, they have their minds made up already :(

thanks for posting that. :)

My friend has/had one of the stupidest pits I can think of, but he was the best dog you could find! He might not have the dog anymore, but I hope he does. It really is NOT the dogs fault, its the owner's/raiser's fault about how their dog acts. Sure pitbulls may have a harder time controlling it sometimes, but thats because how they were bred and which dogs were bred together. Its like humans, people have harder times with things more than others, but it isn't their fault now is it? I just wanted to enter in my opinion too.

Very well said.
