In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Im sorry... I was putting off posting these but I feel like I should let others know about my experience.
I purchased some feeders from Feeders plus on a recomendation from a forum member here. I went even after someone on another forum told me not to use feeders plus. I had bought a couple bags of pre frozen fuzzies, upon getting home I realized they had freezer burn, broken limbs and were just a mess. These were supposed to be freshlly frozen??? I also bought some meduim rats which about half looked more like smalls but whatever atleast they looked better than the mice. A few weeks later I opened up one of the bags of large rats I had purchesed and was not happy with what I found. Atleast one in every bag had a sickly anorexia looking rat. Others had weird spots on them. Tossed them straight into the trash! I will NEVER go back to them EVER again. I messaged Justin about it and never got a reply after I mentioned I was unhappy with the rodents. I would recomend staying away from this place.

Please name them so that they are not anonymous, and we can give the proper weight to what they said.

I'm sorry for your bad experience Shawn.

I used to use Justin for my rodents and suggested them to Shawn. I have long since opted for another supplier.

The biggest complaint I had with Justin is inconsistency of size and they were not as clean as I would have liked to see.

Justin is a good guy and I am sure that he will make it right Shawn. Have you made him aware of this thread?

Those are the most disgusting rodents I have ever seen. That's just horrible to treat them like that.

With a long set of tongs and a couple extra minutes, you can package rats in a stunning order that keeps them presentable and prevents limb breakage.

You just saved a lot of people and snakes from potential grief.

I bypass tongs all together and use latex gloves. Some people seem to forget these are also animals that gave their life for our pets. Some order of respect is due IMHO.

Agreed with above.... I now do it myself. Although there are some very reputable suppliers I have read about (i'll leave others to research their own decisions), but I know 100% fact the rats are produce are top notch, healthy, full of muscle all the good vitamins a proper diet entails..

Good luck on the resolution if any is offered!

It looks like the fuzzies were thrown in the bag and frozen while still alive and the rat is an old, blown out female breeder that lived in a very dirty cage. I agree with everyone else, not very professional.

^^ Jason,

Agree with you 100%. Definitely look "live" frozen. Pretty unfortunate. Their legs give it away to me. When "death champered" they are obviously relaxed and their legs will typically lay flat/or more at ease. :( Poor guys/gals.

Thanks Bud. Actually you kinda for warned me abput them. There was a guy named Rchard that also lives close to me that highly recomended him. Shouldve taken your advice and went back to backwoods again. Actually i went back there yesterday, 7hr trip but got almost 300 clean, heathy well packaged rats. Id only go back to justin for a cash refund, i dont want any rodents from therr.

Why didn't you drive to Justin's facility? It's a lot closer to you than a seven hour drive. I've been there numerous times. His facility is in Brooksville, and you're in Crystal River. What would that be, a three hour trip there and back?

Im not going to name names, its not the other persons fault.
It may not be the other people's fault, but - per the rules of this forum - if you are going to mention what other people tell you about a business, you have to identify them. Failure to do so subjects your post(s) to infractions.

I read your first post, and I don't see where it says you went to his facility.

I've bought all kinds of stuff from Justin, and I've never had a problem.

Yes. ive been out to justins shack out in the woods, thats how i got rodents from there. Theres a big pile of rat fecies, aspen with dead rodents right by the front entrance.
