In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I purchased 20 gallons of Live oak leaf from justin on september 2nd 2013, still to this day no leaves. I have contacted him many times, at first he was good with excuses, but now doesnt even answer back at all. At this point i would be thrilled with either a refund or the leafs i ordered over 2 months ago! I held off for a long time doing this post, because i like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but this transaction is ridiculous at this point.

Since you backed your PayPal payment with your credit card, if PayPal won't refund your money since it's been too long to file a dispute, your credit card might. I wouldn't wait any longer though.

Bad news

I bought two supposed female mouhotii from him. They were supposed to be ltc animals. It was a pair and he fought me on it. He said he was contacting a expert on them and never got back to me. Never asked for a refund just for him to make it right because I paid the price for two females. I have never heard back from him. To top it off these animals are not ltc. The female died soon after arrival and the male is not eating and took him to the vet and he was infested with parasites. Had to be fresh wc animals. This guy is bad look at his past. He is still up to his old dishonest ways. Ronnie

Do you guys know about him and take the risk or do you not know at the time these orders are being placed? He has certainly become "popular" these days.

That sucks about the leaves, but is an outright shame about losing the mouhotii female and the current state of the male. :(

That happens and I can understand that. I was just curious. He has been having (causing) a lot of bad deals as of late.

Prob stopped spelling it that way because there were too many complaints....lol I find it says alot about his character and business ethics to not even post here with his side of the transaction.

If you had problems with this guy/company and used Paypal, I would call Paypal and explain the issue to them. I had issues with a different company on even though it was past 2 months, Paypal still opened a dispute for me since my record with Paypal was perfect for over 20 years. Worth a try and if they can't/won't open one, then I would contact my credit card company asap.

Ok, sorry I was off a little. I started Paypal when it came out and when I talked to the customer service gal, she looked up my acct and told me "wow, you've been a member for a very long time and never had a single issue". So she opened a dispute for me regardless of it being just over 2 months. Anyways, back to the point, I would definitely call Paypal and see if they can do anything for you

justin miller aka bluepumilio

this guy is a joke and not a real business guy just some dude that lives with his mom. he will rip you off and is a drop shipper. he has no animals and has many complaints against him.

he ripped me off for 190 for 2 frogs he never had. i reported him to my bank after he said just go to your bank and make a claim then since he would nto refund and told me he would not make a counter claim. he did and now i ams till fighting him over this.

total piece of shit . do not do business with him.
you can get anything he has from strictlyreptiles.com his importer lol

I also had an issue with him from an ad on Dendroboard. He advertised some pairs of green and black auratus wc on special. I ordered two pair plus shipping ($250). This was early Sept. (8th I believe). The first week was unusually hot here and we both agreed to delay shipping a week. The next week the excuses started. First it was he wasn't able to get the frogs out then he was out of phase packs. Then communication got slow and several broken promises to ship frogs. I threatened to file paypal claim and he assured me he would get them out. He then started blaming his pangolin import for the delays. I respectively asked for my money back in early to mid-October(not quite out of the 45 day PayPal policy) and he agreed but kept breaking promises on refunding the money because of him going back and forth for the Pangolins shipments. About a week before my claim period ended I went ahead and filed a claim. It still took him a week but he did refund the money only because of the Paypal claim.

A few caveats to everything... He never ceased communication entirely but slowed it down considerably. He did offer a credit towards supplies as compensation (he's crazy if he thinks I'm ordering supplies and giving more money). He did refund the money and close the dispute in about a week after claim was filed.

He did give me my money back and attempted to square things off with the credit, but it all was a negative experience and I will not be going back for any reason. I have bought and sold numerous animals on Dendroboard, Kingsnake, and here on FaunaClassifieds and this was by far my most negative experience.

The other poster is correct about Strictly. I have two local breeders in Ohio here (well known on Dendroboard and reputable) that told me that he drop ships from them on his WC animals and to just go to them direct if there is something I really want.

Buyer beware and deal with him at your own risk. Check dendroboard on his feedback and you'll see many people with the same issue/story I was fed.

I thought I was being fair in this post with my data but I received some feedback that caused me to recheck everything to ensure accuracy. I am not retracting my opinions (note I said opinions) but I do want to make sure my facts are correct. So I went back and double checked emails and also the paypal claim history and realized I was incorrect in some spots and would like to clarify.

It did not take Justin a week to refund money. It was a week from paypal claim date until the funds were received in my bank. I filed the claim on 10/18 and he refunded my money on 10/21. I apologize for this error. It was not intentional but I was writing from memory while I typed it up from work.

I also did not mean to imply that I would have to buy more supplies to get the credit he offered. I reread those emails and I made assumptions that I should not have. I actually could've used the credit to get supplies and he did offer to ship for free. So I realistically did not have to send one more penny if I didn't want to. Again, I apologize for this error.

I also want to be absolutely clear about my comment about him drop shipping from Strictly. The information I have is second hand and I have 0 proof of this being the case. There is just as much of a chance that he is actually the importer of record and it has nothing to do with Strictly than there is that he does use Strictly. I have no proof either way.

I believed what I was told by the Ohio breeders I deal with as their track records and feedback and my personal dealings have been flawless. That being said they are vendors and could just be saying those things to eliminate competition. It's all opinion and hearsay on the Strictly stuff. I just wanted to be clear.

Overall, I still stand by the negative experience and would not risk it again. But I did get my money back without too much hassle and he did attempt to square away my negative experience in the only way he could. I am a lucky person in that I got my money back and was not scammed like many others in our industry have been through other vendors or scammers. The experience was not the best but it certainly could've been worse.

I encourage readers to go to Dendroboard and other appropriate sites and read feedback and experiences when dealing with any vendor. There is always an inherent risk when dealing on the net with any vendor or classified ad. One should always research, research, and research some more with any vendor and also communicate directly with them before making any choice on purchasing something from them. This is for any potential transaction and not person specific. Use common sense and protect yourself through methods that many others have described in countless other threads (paypal, CC's ect...).

I do apologize for any misinformation I may have given inadvertently. I only intended to share my experience and meant to represent it with facts as much as possible. I should have waited and went home and got the facts 100% straight before posting. I stand by MY opinions on the transaction but do apologize for the factual errors and for inserting information that I did not have proof over.
