    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I live in the Dallas area in TX. I am a reptile fan and animal lover in general. I have several species of gecko, two axolotls, and a veiled chameleon. Recently my friend rescued a juvenile green iguana from an ad on Craigslist that was giving away a free iguana. She dumped the little guy on me once she realized how big they get and can be aggressive. She told me how she was keeping him and I knew that it wasn't under any special heating or lights and looked quite sick. She had been feeding it only celery for a couple months. I have been getting him/her back to proper health, but I know that I wont be able to keep him/her because of size concerns and I am also in a single bedroom apartment with my other pets I take care of. Right now he is a juvenile obviously, but I hold him every day to get him used to human contact and I am feeding him an iguana diet with mustard greens, bell peppers and some banana as a treat from time to time. I know that placing a green iguana can be difficult. If you have anyone you may know who has lost an iguana recently from old age or is looking to add one to their home (and is aware of the necessary conditions for homing an iguana), if you could please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it.

I don't know if ya still have it but I'm open to rehoming if it still needs it.
