    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have never posted anything on the BOI before, but I don't have anywhere else to go and I don't know what to do. I purchased 3 adult female ball pythons fropm Jason Hormann at KCRD on March 29th using paypal. My e-check cleared April first. I e-mailed Jason to ask when the girls would be shipped. He said one of his guys mis-sexed some of his snakes and he was out of females. He said to give him a couple of days and he would get more of equal quality and send them to me. He got them in and said he would ship them Monday (4-12) via UPS and they would arrive Tues. I replied to his email saying okay and that I needed the tracking number so I could pick them up at the UPS office. He e-mailed me back saying that he forgot to get one but to call him if it was a problem. I called UPS and they told me I could not pick up without a tracking number, but I should wait till they attempted delivery and if I wasn't at home, to bring in the yellow attempt notice and I could get them that way. I waited all day, but no attemt was made to deliver. I called Jason 1 hr. before UPS closed to get the tracking number. He said he needed to make a "quick" call to get it and get right back to me. In short, I am still waiting for the call back. I have e-mailed him and tried calling him with no response. I am worried about the snakes more than anything. If they were indeed shipped, they sat in a storage facility all night and are there now without heat, fresh air, etc. and there is nothing I can do about it. I am not saying Jason is a bad guy...yet. I am just wanting this to be resolved quickly for the sake of the animals involved. Advise would be greatly appreciated right about now. Sorry for the long post.

looks like things....

are going to be resolved soon. (I hope) I just spoke with Jason (he had been out of town) and it appears that there was a mix up that was no one's fault directly. He seems like a good guy to me, and I am sure I will be pleased with the BPs once I get ahold of them.

I have met Jason and have done several shows with him. He seems to be a stand up guy. I think he will take care of you.

I called UPS and they told me I could not pick up without a tracking number,

That's not right; the person you talked to misinformed you. They can look up the package by your address and you need only a valid ID to get it.

He seems like a good guy to me, and I am sure I will be pleased with the BPs once I get ahold of them.

Also - I’ve known him a long time and Jason is definitely a good guy. He’d never do anything intentional to inconvenience you.

resolution!

Yes, things finally got figured out. It turns out that UPS made the mistake. They sent the snakes back to Jason saying that the zip code was non-existant. After double checking it, the zip code was correct. I appreciate all of Jason's work to make the situation better and apologize for speaking too soon. I was just worried about the snakes. I did call UPS several times asking if there was any way to pick up without the tracking number and several different employees told me that they could't let me pick them up or even give me any info. on the package without the tracking number. Anyways, Jason is sending me some fresh girls tomorrow. (Thank you Jason!) In short, I would do business with Jason again. As for UPS, I'm not so sure. ;)

I appreciate you going and rebuking your original words, I appoligize that I was out of town and couldn't take care of this problem sooner.

Anyways, I'm sure you will be satisfied with the girls and let me know if there are any issues.
