Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

David are you totally STUPID, or just partially? You called a moderator at his HOME number?! WTF were you thinking? What in the hell do you think gives you the right to take forum matters offline and harass a moderator at home? That's not only stupid, that's childish and immature!

There goes ANY chance you had to try and become a contributing member to this forum, (btw, a contributing member on this forum isn't just someone who spends money, it's someone who is respected and who people LIKE interacting with.) Goodness knows that you weren't really trying in the first place, and this just solidifies it.

In all fairness he is getting a ton of karma, just a ton of bad karma. If you keep up what you're doing David you can probably get to the top of the lowest karma list.

In all fairness, David seems to have (finally) followed some of the advice offered here. It's one day, but it was a good effort. I'm not giving him karma for it, but I will acknowledge it. I didn't go out of my way looking for his posts...but the ones I saw were on the right track.

I guess we'll see Harald. I don't trust it. I mean he was good for like 2-3 days, and then BAM... So we'll see if he can actually change his spots, or if it's another cover-up for the crap that he's been spewing.

I still can't believe the boy had the gall to call you at your house. Damn people think they're entitled these days. :confused:
 
Oh, I don't trust that this is a lasting change; nor does it change my opinion of him...I was simply acknowledging that he made a few decent posts today. If he keeps it up, he'll start getting the karma he wants. It may take a while for people to acknowledge it, just because of his other efforts...but it IS a step in right direction.

I don't even know what to say. I grew up next to Cherry Point and Camp Lejeune. Most of the jarheads were alright but they tended to be cocky little dudes who bit of more than they could chew on occasion. I have all the respect in the world for the military and the people in it. I joined the Navy and was unable to complete basic due to a knee condition. You thinking that you are better because of what? That sentiment above should make every Marine ashamed to be associated with you. Your problem solving skills just seem to have serious issues.



And what did you think calling Harald was going to accomplish. Threatening him or something?
 
What's the deal with Karma? This thread reminds me of a high school popularity contest. David, if you spend this much time worrying about what others think about you, you'll never have enough time to find out what YOU think about YOU. Step back from the situation. Next time you write a post, leave it on the screen for a while and re read it later. Make sure it's 'worthy' of good karma.

(The irony of this thread is almost too much.)
 
simple logic would have you doing good things (being nice or helpful, for example) if you want good Karma.

Sometimes people get way to bent out of shape over a simple criticism (constructive or otherwise); or a petty disagreement causes them to fly off the handle.
I've seen way too many situations where someone takes a post way to personally, responds with anger and boom! bad karma/infarction/banned.
sometimes you just gotta check the ego at the door.
