Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

People who are "taking the high road" aren't the ones who have to announce that they are doing so. Nor are they the ones who point out how someone else must be incapable of doing so.

Well I will tell you all this. The general personal attacks anywhere and everywhere on this site ARE going to cease. If that means I have to reduce the general population here in order to accomplish that goal, then so be it.
No, more on topic... For every 1 person who will emphatically state that they hate a particular function here, there will be three other people who say they love it. And once someone brings up the topic saying that they LOVE the same thing, then three people will chime in that they hate it with a passion.
Sorry gang, but this site is not going to be driven by minority votes (in the sense of a count of hands voting one way or another) nor by any sort of quasi political correctness that any subset of membership here wishes to inflict upon the majority.
And yes, I do understand the arguments, and no, repetition or saying it louder and more frequently is not going to make your argument and more persuasive.
The decisions here will be made by me based on the evidence I see and a determination of what I think is best to do. I've made such decisions in the past, and been right about some and wrong about others, but regardless, I am still calling those shots. I cannot please everyone, and have no intention of trying. My goal is to simply do the best I can with this site, based on what I BELIEVE is best to do for ME and anyone else that happens to think like me concerning the survival and growth of this site. Sorry that I can't be everyone else and think like everyone else in turn.
