    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This is a warning about Keith Paffenroth in case he ever appears on the scene again. Last yr he offered a pr of adult female 100% het albino boas on KS along with several other high end animals. After talking with him and doing an inquiry that only yeilded 1 response(positive) I decided to make the purchase. I paypaled him a deposit, and sent the balance in a MO. About a week later he emailed me with some "bad news" and said I should call him. I called him and he said to me that a friend told him that
"the hets were worth a lot more money, and I was ""ripping him off"". I could not believe it, but I managed to talk him into going thru with the deal with a promise to send him an albino baby if any were born from the adults. It took him almost 1 month to ship the females which caused some concern, but I finally got them and they were quite a bit smaller than advertised ( he told me the larger one was nearly 30lbs, together with the box they were 28lbs). Unfortunately the smaller one passed away about 2 months ago gravid, and the larger one just delivered a large litter of normal babies. These were both bred to a micro-chip implanted Pete Kahl male. My feeling is he switched the animals during the month I was waiting to receive them. His phone is disconnected, and his email is returned.

Do you have more information? An address where he shipped from, old phone number, old email, etc.? Someone may still know how to get in touch with him.

This is all I have left.
I do have an old Reptiles Magazine, and he is listed as Tim Rainwaters east coast contact. I have contacted the one person to give a positive comment about Keith, and he has not heard from him, and does not know how to contact him. He has heard similar stories recently though.
 
321 is a Central FL area code. (Brevard County).
I live about 90 minutes from that area. If you're able to get more specific info and I can help let me know.

Het boas

Just to let you know, most if not all of the "het" animals sold by rainwater and his followers were not het at all. This includes the boas, and the leopard geckos. I have had many a complaint about them all, living in Vegas and all that. Good luck on your hunt for the fellow, but I am pretty sure that just like all the others that got ripped off, you will just have to punt. I'm sorry, good luck.

I wanted to update everyone on Mr. Paffenroth. I ran into him yesterday evening at a local pet store. I informed him that I was getting calls and such from his customers that he still owes money to and I did not like it. I told him he needs to take care of the problem and not hide from it. He stated that I should let everyone know he is out of buisness and is bankrupt. I told him it was his responsibility to do this and not mine. But I did want anyone reading this thread that he owes that if you did not get contacted by the courts as being part of his Bankruptcy then your debt is still valid. If he did not list you as part of the Bankruptcy then he still owes that debt. If you still need to contact him let me know as I might be able to get the information on his new employer.
 
I wanted to let anyone and everyone that might need to know that Mr. Paffenroth is back in business. I guess he is now breeding or supposedly breeding Pastel And Albino Ball Pythons. If he still owes you anything you should be able to contact him now as I believe he is still living in the same house as he was before. Good luck.
