In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Kelly's Chameleons -- Unethical Breeder/Scammer

Brian I suggest that you do not try and go back and forth with Lucille. Trust me it will never end. Have you noticed how stuck she is on the PayPal thing. Havnt heard a peep about you getting ripped off. Is the PayPal thing worth mentioning. Sure. Is he fact that you got ripped off worth mentioning. Well that depends on who you ask.
I don't read a lot of BOIs but I do read some of the bad guy stuff and everyone I've ever read she has posted on 95%. Sometimes I agree with her and sometimes I don't. Bottom line you won't win against her because she will always get the last word. If it's fauna business she makes it her own business. Shoot she's going to crucify me for posting this. Just watch. She will be posting in 5,4,3,2, bet you won't be able to read my post before she post hers with this exact post in her quote.
After this I recommend you just skip over her post.

She probably got nothing else to do and have no friends out of the internet.

FYI: I personally sent Kelly 4 notices of this thread this morning. If she decides to ignore them all, that will speak volumes to me personally about her position/intentions.

I love how the parties involved would rather be snarky about everyone's comments rather than just show evidence and carry on.

Was the OP sent chameleons in bad shape? From appearances; yes. Was the OP in a cruddy transaction with Kelly? From his side of things that he has posted; yes. On the same token though, the OP has admitted that he screwed up in the way that he sent the money, so in all actuality it doesn't need to be re-hashed.

That still doesn't mean that the OP & Mr. Wyatt need to go being snippy to (and about) Lucille because she pointed out the paypal mistake again. Drop it and move on to the other issues fellas. If not then you're just going to make this whole thread look like a contest to see who can be ruder than who, and it's just going to discount the whole thing. Which I'm sure is not what either of you want.

Get the animals healthy and chalk it up as a loss. It's painfully obvious that Kelly doesn't give a rat's meow and knew what she was sending out when she sent them. Warn others and don't turn this whole thing into a contest of who can spit father than who. (I wanted to use another phrase, but I decided against it.)

What do you mean get the animals healthy and chalk it up. Kelly has the animals and the money. I guess Kelly could chalk it up as a total win and Brian can chalk it up as a total loss. Is that what your suggesting?
** I'm not falling for the bait but sounds like your stirring the pot now.

You take it however you want. I have no control over how YOU choose to take things. So  So if you think I'm stirring the pot, then obviously in your mind I am. So however you choose to take it.

As for getting the animals healthy, yes, he needs to chalk it up as a loss and hope that she gets the animals healthy. Because it's obvious that she doesn't care how she looks in this whole ordeal or if he gets his money back. She already told him to file with Paypal knowing good and well that he wouldn't win or get anything back. So he can hope that she gets those animals healthy or to someone who will get them healthy, and he can chalk the whole thing up as a loss. Because it's very clear she won't do anything to change the outcome.

Actually..choosing to send the money via friends and family works in PayPal's favor. The few dollars they would've collected probably wouldn't cover the cost to have a rep follow up on his claim. imo Brian's the only party that's gotten screwed here.:(

Can someone post her facebook page, email address, and/or phone number please so that search engines will pick them up? That way people doing research on her in the future will be more likely to find this thread.

I don't know her email but this is her number 724-212-1144 and here is her Facebook page

If you were looking to buy animals to add to your breeding stock and recieved this how would you feel. This is one of the "healthy" animals she shipped. AND she also said that they were fine when she sent them. Has anyone ever shipped out a healthy animal and your customer opens there box to find something like this. Must have been one heck of an overnight travel.
Besides her being a bag of bones what the heck happened to her spine. A blind man would have seen this before bagging her up for shipping.

Any ethical person would have described this poor creature's problems before offering it to anyone, even as a "rescue". This didn't happen over 2 weeks. This is either a newly arrived import that hasn't received any care or the result of months of neglect. I am also shocked to see a reference to Chris Anderson on her facebook page. That smacks of a desperate attempt to steal credit from a well respected chameleon authority. What a piece of work!

Visit Kelly's FB page, she seems to have strong feelings about animal cruelty.

I'm sure Kelly and Chris Anderson are not really real friends. Just Facebook friends which means nothing really. I accept friendship request all the time from people I've never heard of. If they have anything to do with chameleons I usually accept.

Where did she steal credit from him? From the picture (screen shot) above all I see is that Craig Wyatt has mutual friends with Kelly Smith. One of which is Chris Anderson. So can you point out where she is stealing "Credit" from Chris Anderson?

Also, her facebook page seems to be private other than various change.org posts she has shared and a few pictures. No posts are visible unless you add her as a friend. I did message her and let her know about this thread and I do know that others have also informed her, so I'm not expecting much from it.

I suggest to you that you drop any hint of snarkiness about those posts. You cheated and lied to Paypal. You were called on it, and then the thread went on to focus on Kelly and the bad deal you got.
If you want to loop back to the Paypal deal, fine, but I suggest you drop it, don't cheat Paypal again, and going forward, continue to help the community by letting us all know about your bad experience.

I have nothing else to add to this thread but that someone really needs to explicitly state that Paypal was NOT cheated. Paypal offers a buyer protection service and this service has a fee attached. If one chooses the friends and family service that fee is not paid for a that particular transaction and the buyer protection service is not provided. It is that simple.

If Paypal was somehow obligated to provide a refund without a fee being paid for the buyer protection service then we could say they were cheated. If Paypal was extremely concerned about this they could charge this fee for a business account. It would be easy for them to force a business to to only accept money as a business.

It just bugs me seeing someone who really did nothing wrong other than be a bit naive being called a liar and a cheat when in fact they are neither but are being forced to pay for their inexperience with using Paypal.

In summary: Selecting a service that doesn't protect you doesn't make you a liar or a cheat it makes you screwed if anything goes wrong with the transaction.

Daniel, I can't tell you how much I appreciate that comment you just made. I am going to post a longer message addressing that same point. I was highly offended by comments made questioning my integrity and character. I posted on this forum to warn others about a horrible transaction I just went through in the hopes they would learn from my mistakes. Instead, I get called a cheat and liar for being ignorant and naive of the Paypal rules. Obviously, I didn't benefit in any way from sending the money that way. On the contrary, it left me totally unprotected and has caused me a lot of grief. Thank you again for your comment. It is greatly appreciated.
