If he were posting "I'm gonna kick his butt and lay in wait for him in a parking lot" then no, that would not be legal.
And in fact, stalking someone that's done something wrong is still legally stalking. But nothing so far mentioned seems to be stalking.

I hate it when people throw around terms without having a clue what they mean.

"Stalking" someone is when the person has done nothing wrong. I don't think anyone will disagree that stealing someone's money is wrong.

What would be UNLAWFUL is if Ken physically attacked Ken Marino or trespassed on his property or stole stuff from him. (yes I realize it would in a sense be merely "getting what he is owed" but it's still illegal to collect like that). Harassing him via repeatedly finding him and demanding his money back, including going to public places, as well as running around telling people what Marino has done, is perfectly legal, and IMHO quite acceptable. As far as I know, private investigators have no more authority than any other citizen - they just likely have more experience and connections, and are getting paid to do what they're doing.

You don't just have to sit on your ass and hope some authority will ride to your rescue all the time. You're allowed to be proactive in certain ways. Credit collection agencies do this sort of thing all the time, and it is legal (unless they're going after the wrong person).

And I hate when people assume they're intelligent and try to tell others how to use words correctly..LMAO..it got my point across that's what I was after.

You may be correct; I'm a little fuzzy on what, exactly, constitutes legal "stalking" - as I understand it, "stalking" is not really explicitly illegal so much as specific behaviors associated with stalking; unwanted contact is the only one I can think of that's being discussed here, and yet I know creditors are able to harass people via phone, etc, so IDK. But your state/country may vary.

True, and sometimes it's merely the person SAYING they feel threatened that makes it stalking.
The legalities can be murky. But I would want to see the jerk STOPPED, or punished by the authorities, rather than see victims sitting there wringing their hands and saying "nothing I can do!"

You are either protecting this guy who Foose says scammed him out of $3,500, or you are unbelievably passive and think that people should not help themselves by trying to locate and identify who took their $3,500. Methinks you must be protecting him, because most people would be outraged at what Ken said happened to him.

I still don't see why you think it's okay for a private investigator to do it and not Mr. Foose.

Even if the guy feels he has a bonafide case against Ken for stalking, what is he going to be able to do about it? Go to the authorities with a complaint? And what are they going to ask him concerning WHY he feels that he is being stalked? And there is a real good chance that the authorities might just be looking for this guy anyway, and in that case he would be a fool to just walk into a police station to file such a complaint.

Dennis, this is the only info I have on him. Ken Marino 3310 W. Bell Rd. #171, Phoenix AZ 85053. I have already posted his phone #. We never corresponded on the computer, although I should have his screen name and IP address within a few days or so.

To others, all I've done here is asked for information about Ken Marino if anyone has anything to share. My intent is clear: I plan on getting what I paid for, getting my money back, or getting the satifaction of knowing that I've caused Marino to have his life unravel around him. I'll use any and all means needed to achieve my goals. Hurting him physically, or destroying his property won't gain anything for me. Watching him get arrested, sit in court all day, be convicted, and having the IRS audit him for the past 7 years will give me a lot of satisfaction, and once again the world will be spinning on greased groves.

Rich, those are my thoughts exactly. I only wish I could scare Marino enough to feel he needed police protection. Right now he more then likely feels secure and is not giving me a second thought. But there's a big storm heading his way. I guarentee it.
