Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm probably going to hate myself in the morning, but......
I have debated the ethics of performing this kind of surgery without Veterinary training with Kevin for a couple of years now. I do not believe he wrote those posts.
He has NEVER admitted to performing the procedure, at least that I'm aware of.....
I suppose he's smart enough not to admit to practicing veterinary medicine without a license, at least on a public forum..... AND, he knows Richard Richey well enough not to call him Richie Rich on a forum, as his name has been repeatedly misspelled here....
While a feel that the practice of surgically altering an animal so that it can be sold for as much as 10 times the price (pure profit motivation and nothing more) as the animal would have sold for as God made it... I cannot stand by and say nothing when I think Kevin (or whatever his name is... Gino?) is being railroaded....
I don't like what he does, but he has never done anything TO me and I think someone has posted those messages "as" Kevin..... Read them carefully and you will see that the style of writing is inconsistent with his writing style, and the terminology is also odd... Kevin won't even talk about venomoids, unless (I assume) you want to buy them.....

Thank you, at least there are some people that disagree with venomoids that are mature adults. You are right, we have been disagreeing for quite awhile, but that is fine, I really have no personal problems with you and we can still disagree on a mature level. It says a lot about the suppliers who knowingly send these snakes off to the chopping block. I say boycott. There are plenty of decent dealers out there that are against this malicious practice that would not knowingly sell animals to these backyard butchers. As far as I am concerned, the people supplying the animals are nearly as bad as the ones that are doing the chopping. It's a damn shame! This is just a case where two dirtbags were exposed at once.

It would especially be to your favor to show pics of ALL the dead snakes, including close up shots of their heads and open mouths, just to prove that you or noone else DID in fact cause their deaths due to any alterations of the said animals.

There were only 3 in the picture because the others had heartbeats, so they were put in a warm room right away to try and save them. I do not have the dead ones here and I will try and get pictures as soon as I can. The last one that died, was alive for a day and a half, but perished. There is your answer.

There has been one thing bothering me since this thread began....
The prices that were allegedly paid for green mambas (was it really 425$ each???)..... I saw some "greens" for sale on a friend's price list for as little as 85$ each for green mambas. Why would someone pay five times that much for animals, especially if they were intended for venomoid surgery?
That doesn't make any sense to me at all.
As far as dealers and importers boycotting the venomoid dealers... I don't see it happening. It's too bad, but the importers rarely (in my limited experience) inquire about what end the animals will meet. A lot of times, they're just happy to get the live ones out while they're still alive to make room for the next plane-load of snakes. Not all importers are money grubbing animal exploiters.... a few are and they could care less about the fate of the animals as long as they move product.
My whole "problem" with this practice is that the animals are treated (again, in my opinion) as a comodity, not unlike used cars, and there doesn't seem to be any attachment to the animal. I actually LIKE the animals I keep, and that's why I find it hard to understand why anyone would want a non-venomous venomous snake.... If you want a non-venomous Black Mamba, get a Racer or a Coachwhip snake. I guarantee that either one will impress you with it's speed and willingness to bite repeatedly. If these animals aren't purchased to impress people, then what exactly IS the point??? They aren't venomous anymore..... they're pseudo-venomous and most of the "altered" animals I've seen have caved in heads where the venom glands used to be, and they no longer resemble the phenotype representative of their species....
Oh well.... I'm sorry I digress, but this whole thing puzzles me..... I mean, it's like buying a corvette with the geo engine option, isn't it???

would face:
1. Cruelety to animals (dozens of counts)
2. Practising veterinary medicine without a license.
3. acting as a business without the proper license.
4.-and this one is debatable-illegal access to anaesthetic.
It is definitely illegal for him to have it, but I also have
reliable inside information that he uses no pain-killing
meds during the process.
Who can I contact? I hate seeing animals suffer. I think
that we should all file complaints to try and spur an
investigation.

I just find it funny that you are so secretive about everything, yet I have told you exactly what I was going to do soon. I don't have to hide behind anyone. There have been others on fauna way before me that have posted the same opinions about you. I NEVER called your house and have no idea who did. The problem with you is already getting taken care of.
