    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

There was rigormortis setting in on the mambas, that brought another question that was discussed between us when we were unpacking them, when exactly they died? I don't know exactly how long it takes for that to start, but I am sure the cold tempratures accelerated the process. It was setting in in a majority of the mambas pictured, I forgot to mention that point, but it was just another example on top of a pile on how poorly these snakes were packed. How long does it generally take for dead snakes to start getting stiff, would the cold accelerate this?

Hey, Kevin. I'm sorry to hear of your loss. As you know, I am a licensed Paramedic, so let me see if I can help you with your question about rigor mortis.

In humans, rigor mortis is the stiffening of the body (starting mostly in the extremities) from hardening of the muscular tissues in consequence of the coagulation of the myosinogen and paramyosinogen. This often takes place within 1 to 7 hours post mortum, but temps seem to play a role in how fast rigor mortis sets in, as does body weight and mass. Obviously in a snake (having very little body mass compared to a human) this would take place very quickly. My GUESS is from one to two hours at most. Rigor mortis disappears in humans 1-6 days afterwards when the decomposition process begins.

Okay, Ken Yates has confirmed what everyone already knows- he's a liar, a coward, and a thief. Whether it be windows, siding, or snakes, he's a loser.

That he's managed to stay out of prison is a wonder in and of itself. That he still manages to find new victims is also a wonder.

Kevin, email or pm me for the email address of a reporter who's previously done spots about this crook. I think she'd be hapy to air a follow-up letting viewers know that Ken Yates theivery isn't just limited to windows.

Likewise, I would also call Delta regarding his failure to comply with IATA regulations regarding the shipping of venomous reptiles. It would be very easy, given the physical evidence, to get them to yank his account.

Likewise, I'd also file through the FBI's IFCC website. The complaint will be forwarded to his local law enforcement agency. Aside from his theivery, he has also commited the crime of "Ill-treatment of animals generallly" by intentionally depriving these snakes of necessary shelter from the elements. Each snake shipped to you is a separate chargable offense under SC Code of Laws 47-1-40(A).

Now, Ken likes to cower behind "I didn't guarantee live arrival." Unfortunately for him, that doesn't hold any water legally or ethically. Had the deaths been due to improper handling by the carrier, he'd be able to weasel his way out. However, the doa's were caused by his own negligence, which he can be held culpable for.

Do you have any proof of the supposed shipping with no gaurentee of live arrival?

Any chance of you posting that contract? Any chance one of your witnesses, which is interesting as you have stated you weren't there when the animals were packed, coming on and letting us know what they have to say?

Any chance that either the contract or witnesses exist outside your mind?

Fine with me, I have no problem with that...

But that IS the same snake you sent. I offered to return all of the snakes the same day, so if I was going to switch snakes, why would I offer to do so? You are the one that said you didn't want the snakes back and refused me to ship them back. Like I told you in the original email after recieving the snakes, If I wouldn't have tried to give you the benefit of the doubt, I would have waited two hours and shipped the snakes directly back to you at 5am in the morning. I have two witness that were here when I unpacked the snakes, we layed all the dead snakes in an empty box and took a picture after we had went through everything. You are the one that refused to garauntee the snakes even though you boxed them up improperly causing casualties. I don't really care, this is pointless, because you have proved over and over throughout this entire thread and through the email you sent me(which I posted) that you had no intentions of being stand up by the mistakes that you made, end of story. If that is not the same mamba in your mind, then replace the greens and the snakes that were missing or just the greens at least. Or how about sending me the money back for the greens and calling it good??? What am I not being cooperative enough?? I would like to see any proof that you are a stand up guy.
