    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

It is my understanding that Mardi has moved to South Carolina from Florida a few months ago. Mardi is still "Coastal Reptiles" but is now in the Columbia, SC. area.

I really dont feel the need to argue with Ken on here, seeing as how many times has he been accused of screwing people and how many times have I personally?

And NO I have never personally posted on the BOI and did not know of the BOI until Anja showed it to me when the first posts about Elite were brought to her attention by someone else.

We did NOT owe any rent, rent was coming due on 12/9, we vacated the premises on 12/8. No the deposit was never paid, his grandmother owns the house, not him, (from what we have now been told apparently everything is in grandmothers name) we worked so many hours that things got overlooked, Anja remembered that we still owed the deposit and said something to Ken about it and he stated "she isnt worried about it, just get it when you can". As for NASTY, we bagged all trash and left it to be taken to the curb, didnt want to leave it outside for the neighborhood dogs. As far as the condition of the premises after we left I have no idea, I personally watched neighbors go through other peoples houses after they were evicted or moved away in that neighborhood.

I have all emails confirming he was dismissing us right after he had told us in person that we would still have a job and that we would just need to sell off the venomous to keep things running. Before all that happened we were told to only buy breeder projects, not to worry about buying resell animals until after we got into the new building. I have all those emails as well. Really hard to make payroll when the only animals you have for resell are venomous, and not everyone is into venomous. The large collection of venomous was bought mainly for breeding projects and there were a few in there to be resold. Before that we had plenty of resell animals, we made trades at shows etc to keep the resell stock up. Some animals that were traded for at shows for resell Ken liked and wanted to keep. Like I said, hard to be expected to make payroll that way.

Ken is now emailing with this contradictory statement on the car damage and I quote. "did you know your car damage was done on private property with no police report or actual where was the car damaged at, even i truly do not know that" I still have the voicemail from his son calling us on our cell phone while we were at the Rockaway, MO show (FOR ELITE REPTILE) telling us he had backed into our car out in his dad's driveway with the company (Elite Windows) truck.

I find it funny we can answer our accusors and their questions but Ken sure doesnt seem to be able to.

I left my job at the Greenville County Sheriffs Dept to work for Ken with the assurance that he would see the business through and I would have a job. I expect him to say there were no guarantees on this job but there were many times that Anja and I both had heart to heart talks with him and he always assured us we would have jobs. And yes he did say we were "family" many times. We went to bat for Ken and Elite many times when we should not have apparently.

Neither of us had ever been paid in cash before so we had no idea it was against the law. In the beginning we asked for the paperwork for our taxes and he said not to worry about it he had a good accountant and that he had not had to pay taxes in 7 years. We are planning on checking with the IRS on this matter as we have now been told its not a good thing.

IRS I will contact them for you so that you can pay the taxes on your salaries just email me or call with the info i will need and no it is not illegal

It's not technically illegal to pay you in cash if you're an independent contractor. If you were an employee (which Ken has stated a few times), then the company should have been paying their share of FICA, unemployment taxes, and local withholdings. Were you paid by check, or in green folding money?
 
if they will send me their address and needed info i will and always send IRS info out to everyone at the same time (all my employees) asking for it again. as i have many times in the past

Looks like we have another one wearing a $10 fine and being suspended until payment is made.

we never said you fired us, we said you dismissed us, i believe it was you who stated on here that you fired us for being lazy. PLEASE.

Oh and I believe it was our home that was inspected and verified through Delta and Anja's name was on the paperwork since she had made all of the phone calls to make it happen. Doesnt make you a verified shipper, just Anja and the name Elite.

You complained that we didnt help out with the boas at your house, when you know damn well you were asked NUMEROUS times to let us go in and care for them. But no you couldnt allow us in because your wife was suicidal, your wife was having a bad day, your wife this, your wife that, having problems with the wife today. Wasnt that always what you said? The only time we were called over was at 11:30 at night after we had driven 12+ hours in from a show and unloaded everything on our own and you called us over right away because a boa had dropped 5 babies.....that was when your wife was in the hospital for a little relaxation right?? (by the way your a fine one to talk about nasty houses arent you Ken?)

Yes we both cried, I dont know of anyone who wouldnt who found out the way we did and were betrayed the way we were. For everyone else, we tried to go to work on a Monday morning and Ken put us off several times (this was right after we moved all venomous to another one of his grandmothers rental houses the week before.) we tried calling several times, we had a client coming in from North Carolina to look at some venomous that day or the next day. He later admitted he was avoiding our calls. We received a call from a local friend who works at a pet shop asking if we were still working for Elite because someone had just called and tried to sell him all of the venomous from Elite. We get in the car, go over there and he said "yea i knew you would be over here after we got off the phone with XXXX" SO after talking with Ken for several hours, agreeing to even take a pay cut he said we could keep going as we were and we would discuss the pay cut later. We agree to try and sell off most of the venomous to help with costs. (at this time he stated he had dropped around $75,000 in the new building he was building on his property for the business) We housed his animals for a couple of months when all of a sudden he decided to leave the facility we had been in prior to that. HE had told us it would only be for 3 weeks or so. And every week it got longer and longer. We had no life outside of Elite, we were Elite 24/7. Middle of the night phone calls because our cell phone was the only one anyone could reach Elite at. We even went up to a 2000 daytime minute plan because we were constantly going over our minutes due to business calls, never even an offer of reimbursement but im sure Ken would think we should cover that out of our own personal salaries as well like the electric bill.

I dont see how you can call us lazy when we were caring for, cleaning cages and feeding NUMEROUS venomous snakes. Its not quite as easy to clean a Mamba's cage or a a big Cobra's cage as it was to clean your boas cages. It takes alot more time. When we asked you to buy that collection we were under the impression we were about to be in the new building from what you had been telling us. We also took care of all emails and phone calls related to Elite and the posting of all ads. Yes selling the animals was part of our job, but housing those animals that long was not. Yet in the time we had them we never complained we just kept going. We did ask for help several times that we never got but was always told you would.

Its late and im tired and dont feel like typing anymore, since my responses are considerably longer than the one or two liners Ken produces, lol. Im going to bed.

Oh almost forgot here is the email from Ken after he had avoided our calls the next day after the ordeal, we left several messages with his helper David as well trying to get in touch with Ken to ring over the customer who was interested in a lot of what we (oops Ken) had for sale venomous wise. I was tired of getting no where with phone calls and messages and finally decided to send the bottom email since it was pretty obvious we were getting shafted.

Does that look like he fired us for being lazy??? Or was he just too scared to say it because he knew it wasnt true???
 
I'm just curious if Ken is the guy pictured in Reptiles Mag holding a snake in an add for Elite Reptiles? I've been getting quite a kick out of that pic... It may not be him, but I can't help but picture that guy sitting at a computer with his brow all crinkled up stressing out what he thought was witty replies.
