    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey there i am new to the breeding of kenyans i currently have 2.0 normal phase 0.2 anery and 0.1 100% het for anery now what i was wondering is that i know i have too cool my snakes but for how long and when should i introduce the male to the females when i warm them up. Thank you in advance to anyone who responds and if you have any other tips i would be more than gracious. Thanks again and one last thing i live in BC which is in canada and would love to know of any reputable breeders in the great white north. :party:

a night time drop in temps to the high 60's for 6-8 weeks will usually work. make sure they have access to heat, you dont want respiratory problems. put them together and they will do their thing. i usually put mine together march 1st, but they will breed year round. scott [email protected]

thanks for the advice. Another question I have is that how big do males get, because i was sold a male 3 yrs ago and "he" is 32 inces long and weighs 234g that seems like a female size but maybe someone has a male that big.

males get anywhere from 14-24 inches. yours could be an exceptionally large one, but ive never heard of a male kenyan that big. does it have spurs? if so its a male. can you post a pic of the tail? scott [email protected]

well what exactly do the spurs look like because he/she has two small triangle shaped scales near his vent are those spurs????

Here is a pic of male/female tails. female on top. male on bottom. You can see the spurs right alongside the cloaca. Also notice the difference in tail length. The female in the picture is several inches longer than the male too.

I did not bother cooling and I have 2 nice heavily gravid females. we will see though how many babies I get.

tahnk you very much i really appreciate the help i have recieved on this thread i now know that my male is a female thank you very much. I feel bad asking another question but how do you go about safely sexing baby kenyans.
Thank you again.

tail length/shape is the safest way to sex babies. if you use an eye loupe or magnifier the spurs are somewhat visible on the males. popping works but should only be done by somone with experience. never, ever probe them. scott [email protected]
