• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Kevin Patrick

Sure looks like Kevin Patrick has been busy scamming. One may be an accident but three, in short time, (along with a "disappearing act"), does not appear accidental.

I hope Paypal will side, with you both, due to "product not as described". However, Paypal tends to get involved, in animal related cases, only if there is non-receipt of anything.
If payment was made with a credit card, going through your cc company would be your best bet.
You could go through your bank, as well, if cc card is linked to your bank or if money came out of your bank account.

Yea, well he just emailed me back and said that he bought her as a female and he proved her and it was a female. I told him that it's a male and it's been proven. I told him to just return my money and send me a return label and I'll send him his snake back. We shall see what happens.

He won't even respond to my e:mails but did respond to paypal dispute.
He escalated the dispute and this was his response:

4/10/2015 18:38 PDT - PayPal: Seller escalated this dispute to a Claim.
4/10/2015 18:38 PDT - Seller: animals were purchased as female so they were sold as female. i request this fraudulent claim be dismissed at once.

Now, if he were an honest business man, don't you think he would have e:mailed me back personally to fix this?
He sent me two males as females, he knew 100% just what he was doing.

By the way, he even advertised the Candycane as a "proven" female ready to be put with a male and bred.
He's a true con artist.

I've only had to do this a handful of times, and never for animals.
Amazing how I can receive much higher dollar shipments from both Rich Hume and Don Soderberg within the same time frame, and you don't see me on here complaining or doing a paypal dispute. That's because they're honest business men.
This Kevin Patrick is ripping people off by advertising females, and making much higher profits. This is definitely intentional on his part.
If you haven't filed a paypal claim yet, I'd highly encourage you to do so.
The more of us that have been screwed over by him, paypal will have to take notice, and I for one would like to get my money back.

I posted the link in response to my dispute in paypal, but... Whenever seller escalates it to a claim, neither party (buyer or seller) can post anymore replies.

I intend to go through my bank if paypal does not resolve this in my favor.
It would be the first time I'd have ever had to have done this, but I don't plan on letting him get away with this.
I absolutely HATE a thief!

45lcrevolver, I'm not disputing your claim that the snake is a male; but you have shown nothing to confirm that. The picture you posted does not show breeding...nor does the snake being on top prove that it is a male.

I would "think" that with more than one person coming forward about this, it might be quite obvious that the guy is up to no good.

Just out of curiosity, did either of you send a link (to this thread) to Mr Patrick?

Another Scumbag LOSES!!!
I was just informed that I would receive a full refund once I ship the two males back to him (which I will be doing tomorrow). Paypal decided in my favor!
I would suggest calling paypal Jose, and even though the kingsnake.com link to the male you purchased (as a female) might be broken, give it to them, along with the pictures of him trying to breed your female. Also include with it, the URL to this BOI thread. They closed the case in my favor within 2-3 minutes of me calling and speaking to an agent. I'm going to record bagging and packaging the snakes just in case he tries anymore funny business. Good luck getting your case against him resolved as well, Jose.

Glad that things are working out for you, Thomas, with re. to a refund!
I hope, for the sake of the snakes, that the return address is not a fake one and, if it is correct, that Patrick notices them (if delivery agent simply drops off the package).
