In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This is for all that don't already know my situation and do not recommend them at all.

This is a transaction with Kimberly Nicole Walsh that won an auction of mine on Reptile Auctions last week. She purchased a female hypo ball python in which she payed for on time and prompt. She also agreed to purchase a hypo male as well. Upon shipping the labels got mixed and so the head ache began. She PMed me in regard to only receiving one snake and low and behold it's the female hypo mojave spider won by Lauren Mechlin which received a pair of hypos aka Kimberly's hypos. Naturally I worked at resolving the issue and both communicated well up until it was time for Kimberly to do her part and return the snake to the rightful owner. Since Saturday she has disconnected communication via phone, text, and FB messages and thinks ignoring me it will go away. She's had adequate time to address the issue at hand but she would rather be labelled a thief for the sake of mishaps on my part. I do not recommend this person as she is the appitemy of what you want in a customer. As for Lauren, she has been a trooper and appreciate her patience in this unfortunate incident.

Full details can be found HERE regarding the incident.

Just for the sake of completeness, could you please post the communications? Did you send her a prepaid label?

Do they know how to ship properly? What if they send the snake back and it does not arrive alive or in good health would they still receive the snakes they bought? Shipping is tricky this time of year. Maybe they want some reassurance that if something were to go wrong they would not be out all the way around. I think it should be corrected don't get me wrong. However I could see these being concerns that they could have.
The information on Facebook you linked can be changed deleted at anytime so would you please post screen shots here so that everyone can see the transaction from start to finish? I do not follow Ball pythons so I do not know the cash value difference between the two shipments.
I have had the wrong snake end up at the wrong place in the past when I had my store front open and an employee mixed up the boxes when she was placing the labels. I just chalked it up to a lesson learned and corrected it. It happens some times. I hope you can get it worked out.
Sam

Yea it needs to be posted here.

As well as the communications. For all we know, Kimberly may have had valid concerns about the reshipping. And we don't know from what has been shown what was expected of her. Certainly if it was a shipping error she should not be expected to reship on her own dime, she should have a shipping label sent and funds for heat packs. It may be that it became too cold to ship. There's just not enough information here yet, in my opinion, to tag her a Bad Guy.

If she would communicate with the seller maybe those questions could be addressed. Unfortunately she's just ignoring the situation.
So David says. But where are the requested communications that he said went on before the alleged silence? Was she given a prepaid label? It may be that her concerns/communications may show why there ins no satisfactory conclusion and at this point, her actions may or may not be valid, there isn't enough info to say.

There's enough in the FB thread to show that she dropped communication and seems to have refused to acknowledge any subsequent attempts at contact from the OP. If that weren't the case, she's had ample opportunity to openly dispute it.

He stated he'd cover shipping; as well as provide compensation for heat packs that she'd need to purchase. If she had issues with weather, finding heat packs or simple lack of shipping know-how, complete avoidance doesn't seem to be a very sensible way to work toward alleviating them - at least, not if she had any intentions of ever following through. Probably not in the snake's best interests that the OP advocated using hand warmers instead of the long-lasting heat packs, but that's become moot.

There are a few more screenshots of their PMs, but they're not particularly relevant to your stated concerns. Having read that thread, there's nothing there to even vaguely imply that the OP has falsified anything. This looks like a case of a shady, garden-variety opportunist capitalizing on someone's honest mistake.

I read the FB page/posts re. all of this.
I have no doubt that David is being truthful.
Sure looks like Kimberly N. Walsh kept the wrong (& more valuable) snake, cut off all communication with David, and blocks anyone that questions her, etc.
Also, David did offer to cover expenses, etc., etc.

BTW David more than compensated Lauren Mechlin, for her loss, by letting her keep the Hypos, that were mistakenly sent to her (instead of the Hypo Mojave Spider that she had won in auction), PLUS refunded Lauren the money she had paid for the Hypo Mojave Spider. IMO That speaks very well of him.

Although it would be nice if David did it himself, and if needed, I can take some screenshots (when I have time) to show what I have stated. Certainly not screenshots of all posts, though, because there are way too many.

One thing I do not agree with is David suggesting, to Kimberly, the use of hand warmers (for shipping). A better route would have been to order appropriate heat packs ... even if that meant taking a little longer to ship the snake back to him or the intended/actual customer (Lauren).
'Course, that appears to be moot, at this point, since, as it seems, Kimberly had/has no intention of sending the Hypo Mojave Spider back to David nor to where/who it was supposed to go to.
However, David, hope you keep in mind that hand warmers (even if multiple) are very inappropriate for shipping reptiles.

Correct! I had a jacka$$ send two animals ($2800) with one of those tossed in the box last cold season to my main fedex hub. Thought they were dead! I immediately pulled them out of the bag and put them under my shirt. After a few long minutes,I felt movement!

For those of us who aren't snake people.. what is the difference in price between the snakes she paid for and the one she received?

Photo 1: Proof that she received the animal in question. She received a male orange ghost from a different seller (the snake on the right side of the photo), which she apparently tried to flip within four days of receiving the snake based upon photograph dates.

Photo 2: Photos of her snake housing conditions. Do not sell to her.

Photo 3: Photos of one of her Facebook profiles. She has three: Jeremy Walsh, Kim Walsh and Kimberlynjeremy Walsh. They also administrate the group West Texas Reptiles & More, so if you are part of that group you may want to unjoin. They are actively blocking anybody who references the BOI or the Facebook BOI-Reptile Feedback (someone may want to tell Rich that there are still two groups illegally retaining the BOI name on Facebook).

concerns.
Thank you for the screen shots. One of my concerns, echoed by others, is that info (such as the screen shots) should be available here, rather than in another location where it can be edited or where some may not see all of what is written.
I do feel that it is worthwhile bringing the entire issue here.
