    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I posted my opinion about kingsnake.com on another thread on this site, well, today I go to login into my kingsnake account and found my account had been suspended. Are people not allowed to have an opinion, especially on another site? This just goes to show how big of jerks they really are.

I hope someone creates a site that rivals theirs and takes money out of their pockets until they realize they are dealing with people and not robots. Everyone is entitled to their opinion without having some type of vengeance taken against them.

The phrase "Don't bite the hand that feeds you" comes to mind.

Bottom line is that if you dislike them enough to publicly bash them then you shouldn't be doing business with them...plain and simple.
 
It is one thing to have a difference of opinion and things get a little heated. Most normal people go to bed and the next morning it is pretty much water under the bridge.

But to attack a business and still expect them to do business with you is completely different. If you ran around bad mouthing my business I would not do business with you either.

Would you do business with someone that was publicly bashing your business? Or would you tell them they need to go elsewhere?
 
Have you contacted community review and asked why your account was suspended and what TOS you violated to receive the suspension. If so what was their reasoning?
 
I am really surprised by the responses received. I was under the impression that people would see that no TOS were violated.

Has anyone ever heard the term business is business? You may not like someone but there money is worth just as much as the next person. If all everyone had the same mentality then no one or business would evolve for the betterment of the consumer.

The point here is that I was suspended and I did not even break their TOS.

Shrap - Fortunately I view things from a different perspective then you. Would I conduct business with someone that would bash me or my business, YES.

When working and having people under you many are going to rub you the wrong way, unfortunately if I treated someone differently because I did not like them then I would have a lawsuit on my hands or I may be even terminated because personal opinions do not matter when conducting business. The account was suspended because someone was butt hurt and that was their way of retaliation.

Again, the whole point is that I did not break their TOS and my account was suppended.
 
What whole story do you need? All my posts are here to see. I have not posted anything on Kingsnake for you to insinuate something else is going on.
 
With due respect, I didn't even have to look to know that their TOS include having the right to cancel your account at any time without cause, but I did so it would be here:

Their discretion. No cause needed. You criticized them and they banned you, plain and simple. And also not out of line with their previous actions.

Yes business is business, and everyone conducts business differently. If some one was to bash me or my business, I wouldn't care how much money they wanted to spend with me ....I would send them on their way.

And I would think that the people who don't like the way I do business, would take their money else where.

And if I had people working under me that were putting my business down and "bashing" me or my business they would get one warning, and if it continued they would be sent down the road.

It would have nothing to do with wether or not I liked them, it would be a case of them hurting my business. And if they felt that poorly about me or my business I doubt if they would be working for me in the first place.

Have you ever heard the phrase "We reserve the right to refuse service"?

Their TOS states very plainly that they will not tolerate abuse. It does not state that the abuse has to take place on their site.

I am sorry it happened Vito but you made a choice to publicly state your stance and, they have now stated theirs.

I have been a pretty dormant poster of late, but your take on this evoked a desire to respond. John and Sammy (and perhaps others, no slight intended) hit the nail as square on the head as possible. We could argue all day and night whether KS is perfect, just as we could argue the same about you or I if we had nothing better to do with our time. Put simply, the internet seems to have maximized the ability to give everyone a soapbox, regardless of their ability to know how to make the best of the opportunity once on it. Why, in the old days, I remember when it took time to earn the opportunity to make a fool of oneself. Despite whatever flaws you see there, KS has become the best platform-of-opportunity for many of us to have a storefront to the world, and not by accident or casual effort. So, you exercised your freedom of speech. Then they exercised theirs. TOS ? Read the fine print, as their TOS allow them to give anyone the heave-ho at any time. KS's cup is 95% full, give or take. Too bad you felt the need to climb the soapbox and talk about the 5% empty. Maybe next time you will give credence to the concept of "tact".

I'm done with this. Kingsnake will kick you out for the dumbest reasons and everyone seems okay with it. Some pepople got kicked out just for mentioning this site. If everyone wants to play sheep with them and think they have no room for improvement so be it.

No one is saying that you do not have a right to your opinion...you do. However, with that right comes the additional chore of dealing with the consequences. I admire your principal in stating your views. That admiration is heavily tempered based on your whining about the consequences of said principal.

And i am now done with this as well.
 
I can't see KS picking him out of the blue to ban simply because of what he posted here. Others have bad mouthed KS before on here and other sites and are still hanging around over there.

There is another possibility is this: did you happen to have another name that you used to post with on KS and managed for one reason or another to get banned under it and then got caught sneaking back on under a new name? If the answer is yes, then you have your answer.

It wouldn't surprise me. Mr. Vito joined this site (under this name anyway) just yesterday and has made 11 posts thus far (including resurrecting a 2003 thread with two posts at the end, neither of which said anything), all in Kingsnake.com related threads. Smells a bit trollish to me.
 
Considering only 8 posts in the past couple of months and nothing prior - have been made on Kingsnake by mrbommarito - I am not all together sure why a suspension is a big deal - it's not like you are an active participant.

Again - I'd like to see a response from Kingsnakes Community Review explaining the reason of the suspension if there was one. I'll agree with those that stated that KS has every right to suspend members for bad mouthing them, but seeing that its been done to death on this forum with no prior consequences makes me wonder if perhaps there isn't more to this story than what we are being told - since we all know Kingsnake mods won't show up here it's pretty safe to assume this will be a one sided story going no where. :rolleyes:

Most forums are full of trouble makers and idiot mods.(fauna mods arn't too bad tho)

I got kicked out of ks.com too but that's alright i spent way too much time there anyway.

I think that Rich (Fauna Rich Z.) has shown over and over again that his skin is quite thick where the rubber meets the road, vs. what was alleged at the beginning of this thread. With those of us that have a fundamental disagreement with Fauna, many would say that it is in part that anyone can post here, regardless of merit or intellectual abilities, and share the stage with those better endowed to post publicly for the greater advancement of opinion and information. Let the above post serve as an example of that continuing frustration. Or, as Charley Brown would say "Aaaaaaaaaaarggggghhhhh".
