In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I did business with Jeff Gray of Baltimore.  I traded him a dumerils boa for a blood python.  I sent the snake out on time overnight when I was supposed to.  He sent the snake out a week late and it took 3 days to get here.  The dumerils boa was alive and healthy and eating when I sent it.  He got it the next day.  It lived for 2 or 3 days. He said he fed it a pinky mouse it puked up the mouse he fed it and it died.  Now he is trying to ruin my name, post my name on web sites and emailing people telling them that I do bad business.  I guaranteed live arrival and it arrived live. I guaranteed it to be healthy and it was. Now he is harrassing me and won't leave me alone.  I just thought I would share my story with you guys because I know there is a lot big named breeders and good people to work with who advertise there animals here.  So just know who you are dealing with before you do business.
thanx brandon

Brandon,

First you need to post your full name (First & last) otherwise your post will be deleted. It it terrible to have to deal with jerks like that, but we all come across them every so often. Good luck and please post your full name.

Brandon...Let me see if I got this straight....you send out a (healthy) Dumerils baby boa that arrived the next day....3 days later it died....and 3 days AFTER THAT he STILL sent you the Blood even AFTER your snake died??? Something sounds a little fishy here...
But, by all means, listen to what Rob says...he's an EXPERT in dealing with jerks! He seems to attract them like a moth to a candle...lmao ....Neil

Brandon, please post your full name, otherwise I'll be forced to delete this thread.

Brandon,

Full name issues aside, are we really supposed to believe your time line there?  Your snake died in his care and THEN he shipped his to you?  Who in their right mind would do that?

Also, if this guy says your animal died two or three days later (this deal has gone bad and you/he can't remember the most basic details?), did you request the corpse or even a picture of the dead snake?  If not, why not?  That's what a reputable dealer/seller would do in that scenario, I would think.

I'm always worried whenever someone feels the need to come on the BOI with a preemptive "shot accross the bow."  Especially when the story told just does NOT make any sense when considered rationally.  <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> well? it seems fishy that this person would send out his snake if yours had already died? <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> timeline seems off, please explain this,,,,,,thanx thomas davis T&S reptile farm

I got this emailed to me from Brandon:

"I requested the corpse and first he said it was in the freezer and then he said his girlfriend threw it out. He didnt send the blood after the boa died he sent the blood after he got the boa. But it took 3 days for me to get the blood because he didnt send it overnight like he said he was going to. And it had respiratory infection. We said we were going to send the snakes out on the same day but he didnt. He kept givining me excuses why he couldnt. The boa died when my blood was in the mail."

Now, according to this, brandon is saying that the boa was received, the blood was sent in a manner that was not overnight priority, and during the three day travel time, the boa in the hands of the other person died AFTER the blood was shipped.

However, in the original post, Brandon wrote:

"He sent the snake out a week late and it took 3 days to get here."

Now, I cannot tell if that first sentence should read "a week late" or "a week later," but either way it would have been shipped out AFTER the boa died two or three days from when Brandon says he shipped it healthily.

I have no idea what the deal is, but the story appears to have changed when the time line was challenged.  Until full names are given on both ends of the deal, I would take this thread with a HUGE grain of salt!

I gotta agree with you Darren. The timeline has definitely changed from the first post versus the email you received.

If Jeff sent the snake out "a week late" and it took three days to arrive, and the Dum' died three days after arrival (shipped overnight)... that would mean the Dum' was dead four days prior to when Jeff allegedly shipped.

Somethin' just ain't adding up.  <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

This person IS NOT ME . I just saw he shares my name ! I'm the REAL Jeff Gray & I live in NC . Ive spent 5 yrs being a customer of some of the best breeders in the business & this season I should be producing babies . I just don't want there to be any confusion . Jeff Gray in NC <><

I would like to know whe he found out the Dumeril's boa died.  Did the guy let him know right away?  Or did he wait a while, maybe after he sent out the blood python, to say that it had died?  Either way, who feeds a baby Dumeril's a pinky mouse?  This whole deal sounds like an episode of the Twilight Zone.  Derek Roberts
