boy, if ever you ate something that didnt agree with you or something, and are unable to vomit, just look at these pics, that will instantly make you vomit. disgusting, no matter who is responsible. in a perfect world, anybody responsible for keeping animals like that, should be treated as they treat their animals. unfortunately, we live in a world where most people turn their head and ignore. people who keep animals like this will continue to thrive because of people wanting to get animals for a cheap as possible.

animals rely on us for their care. i wish it was a one strike and youre out, program. animals kept like that, should be one strike, and the repsonsible party/parties should be banned from ever owning any animal for life.

I would be more likely to believe Kris had he given me a vet report and culture stating in fact that the JCP I brought over had MRSA and actually did infect his snakes with the same, but I just highly doubt that. Also what is nerve racking is I'm a vet tech and could have easily accessed the needed cultures and/or drugs needed if there was ever a serious need. I never started treatment myself because it was just a slight wheeze and I don't start things off right away with medication. Just not the way I do things.

Anyways I am sorry to hear of your retic and I surely hope she is not sick.

My retic who was housed in the rack above the jcp sounds wheezy, but I can't tell if its from a respiratory problem or a swollen nose, since she has the tendency to push - no matter the housing. I don't expect you to do anything about that, though. He never told me he was getting a sick snake and putting it in the same rack as some of mine. I'm not sure who he's claiming to have lost.
I used to be a lot more involved with his business and care of his animals, but I've since kinda backed out as much as possible. I would do things differently if they were mine..

Just pointing out again that Jackie had a sick snake and 'took him to Kris' sometime around May, a month or two before the photos were taken, and didn't say or do anything then, not even refuse to leave the JCP.

Jackie also makes statements in these emails about the filth his animals live in, which I consider acknowledgement that she knew about this before one month ago, when she says she 'didn't inspect his room' but saw filth and dead animals in racks (or just one, depending on whether she was exaggerating in the first claim, or trying to mitigate damage in the second).

Here, whoever goes by L Bothrops also acknowledges they keep snakes in that room, and at least one of those swollen-face retics belong to her. And apparently she'd do something about the other animals' suffering 'if they were mine'.


Just trying to emphasize why I've still got a hair up my bum to find out who the roommate is, and reconcile some bits of Jackie and the roommate's involvement in this cruel debacle that just don't seem to line up with how I would expect a decent, responsible herper to react to that abomination.

Kris, why won't YOU name the roommate? The efforts to protect this chick really boggle my mind.

She emailed me about a snake that I had for sale, saw who I was and that's how we got to talking. And honestly I don't know her name, I believe it is Haley but I don't know a last name. Ok, so you were at his house delivering a snake in December, and talking about how disgusting it was in May... I'm not sure how that helps you, but clarification is always a good thing, I suppose.

And actually, I'd been keeping an eye on your profile to see if you'd answer after emailing me, and you were definitely here in the past few days (including yesterday).

If you saw one dead snake not in with anything else, why did you say you saw dead snakeS in rackS?

That's funny Kris because you KNEW that carpet had a very slight wheeze yet still took it into your collection even after I said it did. You didn't quarantine it nor say, no keep it until it gets better. You took it and placed it in the same rack as yours.

Also emails stating that my JCP did NOT kill your animals.

I visited the thread to see if anything new has happened, and I noticed you have a great interest in defending this guy. I'm assuming that if you know him, its on a "professional" level: he used to show his animals at various strip clubs, get hired by strippers to let them dance with or get photo shoots (typically nude) with his animals. Now, unless he referred to you as your stage name, I don't recall any of his friends being called "Jessica".
Its pretty typical for people to have a "performance" personality, which is a bit different than their actual one, but you're probably already aware of that.

Now, you seem to be determined to discover the reasoning the ex didn't come forward before. Lets think about this a moment.. Did this person think what he was doing was wrong? We can assume she did, because she took pictures of the problem, and eventually circulated them on top of giving a report to the police, as well as the local humane society. Why did she wait so long? What would prevent someone from doing something about what they thought was wrong?

What do you think she was so afraid of?


I did email her back when her address was posted asking if she had anything to add/ was the roommate in question, but she just said she wasn't interested in involvement and we hadn't sent an email since the second.

I guess now all the girls involved are blameless because Kris is so very scary? And there is still no proof anyone did report him (probably because they knew on some level they were also culpable for having their animals in those racks, too).

I've never laid a finger on my ex, or any other female, and as to being "scary" that's a streaming pile of crap, like most of what has been written here. As to the behavior, ask "lilith" or whoever it is why she is trying to sell animals to another local breeder that she in fact is not nor was ever in possession of... If you want to be afraid of anything, I'd be afraid that JAckie and her little group of friends decide post things about you on a forum considering they are as guilty and getting away with everything free and clear.

I'm not attempting to protect or condemn anyone, she started all this, then didn't like being noticed as someone of responsibility, I do not communicate with her or Jackie as they are both blatant liars and have everything to gain by slandering others to polish their own reputations. Those conditions are beyond horrid. And yes it takes significantly longer then six months. Try more like a year plus. One case had what appeared to be 10 plus dedications in them. That's a lot for a snake that supposedly wasn't touched, fed or even looked at for six weeks.

Please DO NOT provide the excuse that you were sick or blah blah blah. That's crap. If you truly cared for those animals THAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY you would have ensured they were taken care of if you were unable. And if you were that sick I'm sure you saw a doctor. So where's the proof of that?????? FYI .......... I've had heart surgeries (yes more then one) and I still made sure to hobble myself or have assistance in going to see my reptiles to ensure they were being cared for when I couldn't. Those snakes faces are so damn swollen and infected because the conditions they were living in were so appalling they were fighting to get out. Not to mention the illnesses those animals must have had from having to breath in those fumes. Again this is not from six weeks. And as already stated who cares about your roommate /ex or whoever they are. YOUR animals are YOUR responsibility plain and simple.
