In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Very sad situation

I have NOT bought anything from her, but hope to share some information that will help others purchasing highly probable viral infected offspring she is advertizing for sale and we know she is aware of it.

Last October, a breeder contacted me regarding some ill bearded dragons. He eventually had all 90 of his dragons put down as infected with adenovirus.

You may remember the post asking for where the obligation of the breeder stopped. From those post, he decided to contact each person that he had sold dragons too and inform them their dragons had been exposed to this and the contagious nature of it, may times with no symptoms appearing in the carriers, but they will always be carriers and will infect others, including all their offspring.

He knew which dragon brought it into his colony and one of the person he contact is the person this post is about. The mother of her dragon is the one that brought the disease into his colony, so a VERY HIGH probability that her dragon and all its siblings are infected and carriers.

Later this person contacted me also, she did not know we already know the breeder that she got her dragon from, but acknowledged he had contacted her and told her the mother of hers and the sibling he still had were infected and put down. She wanted to know the probability that hers was infected.

Her dragon was only 8 months old and had already bred, she was given the Doctors name and contact information that has developed a test to detect this in live dragons, the only one in the country that has that ability. Later she informed me she had froze the eggs and disposed of them. Would not breed her again and keep her quarantined. But was not going to have the animal tested.

Now she is advertizing for sale a second clutch from the same breeding she incubated , she has been confronted and the site she currently has the ad on has requested she remove it or they will tomorrow, but appears she is still determined to sale not only these offsping, but several other dragons in her collection.

Please do not purchase these animals unless you isolate and have them tested. The cost of the test is $75 and if anyone has already purchased some from her, isolate it from other, use very careful quarantine procedures between handling any from her and your other animals, mail me and we can get you the name of the Vet that developed the test for it.
