I am planning to buy a cornsnake at sometime in August or September of this year.

While I was looking around for a place to buy the little buddy, I came across "La Habra Pets" (1919 W La Habra Blvd) and was wondering if others on this site could share some experiences or tips.

[I don't know if it is applicable here, but: are there any other places near Whittier/La Habra/LA/Norwalk that are known to have good hatchling cornsnakes? If this question is misplaced, I apologize]

Thanks.

-Camille Kay

Camille,

La Habra Pets is an icon of Southern California Reptiles. From the old days of Jack Dyer owning it, to Peck and now Chin. Chin has done a great job in maintaining the integrity that Jack and Peck were known for. I would not hesitate to deal with him.

Cheers

La Habra Pets is a great reptile store. I've been going there for years, and I even used to work there for a while. Chin is a great guy and he's doing a great job running the store.

I had the pleasure of talking with Chin at the store and had a great time!

Clean store, good quality products, and Chin even supports local breeders by purchasing from them. If you pick up a reptile from them then I'm willing to bet Chin knows the person the produced it.

Thank you
Tim

I've know both Jack and Peck for many years, great store, very clean, and they care about their animals and their customers. I wouldn't hesitate to by there at all.

Oh yes... I used to frequent that pet store as a kid, trading snakes with peck. It was always one of the premier petshops of the L.A. area.

hugo himself is not the owner anymore..he is a good friend of mine,he sold the shop a month or so ago.

Like Jordan stated, going all the way back to Jack then Peck and now Chin, they've all done a great job with that shop and let's not forget Ana who's been there from the beginning.

La Habra pets is a great store. One of the only local pet shops i trust to get my reptiles and feeders from. The animals are always clean and well kept. The owner Chin is a great guy. Ana does a great job keeping them well fed and cleaned. I've purchased a number of snakes/lizards from there and they've always been in great health. Would highly recommend buying from La Habra Pets.

Thanks for the info I was just checking them out to purchase from also. I definitely appreciate the great input. It is nice to have this forum to have others advice. Thanks guys!~!!!
