    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello I'm deployed at this time but when I get back in the states I was interested in purchasing another lizard. I've had beardies and bp so I know lil something about reptiles. My plan was to buy the enclosure first once I figure out which one I'm getting. My question is which would be a better choice and who or where would be a good place to get one from?:shrug01:

The better choice depends on which you find more appealing. Personally, I prefer the lacertas, but frilleds are probably more popular. Both are being produced in captivity; but lacertas will probably require a little more looking, and may be available for a shorter period of time (namely the few months after hatching...once the babies are snatched up, you'll be waiting 'til the following season).

I see I know of one adult lacerta in lll reptile that's been at the shop the past year. It's cb but has a bad temperament is I what I was told so it kind of put me off. At least from purchasing adult I don't handle my lizards all the time but when I do I'd like to not have battle wounds. Price isn't really a problem I don't want to end up with a sick reptile. I like the size and I like the options with sets up with these two particular herps though. All I know is lacertas a are rarer and frilleds maybe easier to handle and less flighty.
