2.2 2017 Hatch Ladder Rat Snakes, Rhinechis scalaris. These snakes are a terrific addition to any Colubrid collection if you're looking for something on the unusual side. They start out with a bold, ladder-like pattern that changes to four stripes as adults. These are a robust, powerful rat snake that will remind you more of a Pine or Bull Snake and they are just as good at assuming the role of garbage disposal for any meal that someone else didn't eat. These little guys are feeding on thawed, large fuzzy mice. $450/pair, shipped. Adult not for sale.
