    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Many of you have been helping to remove "Jessica Owens" & "Lance Owens" from your reptile Facebook groups. Thank you!

Just yesterday they attempted another "trade" scam, but were stopped in time.

If you belong to a reptile Facebook group, please do a "member search". If either of those two names pop up please alert your admin. They are also being "black listed" on many admin sites too. If you are an admin, please consider doing the same.

When contacting your admin for FB groups, please include the following link for them to reference this BOI report:

Already had that link and, when I went to it, couldn't see anything relating to their scams, etc., etc.
Figured it out though.
Apparently I cannot see all of her FB page with my phone.
So, the thought occurred to go to my computer instead (upon seeing the link you posted) and ... voila! I can, now, see everything.:thumbsup:

As an aside, what a "peach" this gal is. Also love where she wrote Lance is a hustler (she sure knows what he is).
They both deserve each other but I feel sorry for their kid/s.

Excellent work all the way around Robert and fauna moderators.
Any IP address information for any of the 3? I'm a moderator on a tortoise forum and would like to search using IP. Seems lots of times scammers will move from animals to animals(ex. Snakes to tortoises or turtles) once they get caught.

They are soliciting the trades directly with people on FB.

AND all the Fauna Members, we are over 50 Fauna Members who have helped in this besides just the mods and myself. Perhaps the world has the ice bucket challenge, this is the "Screw you Lance & Jessica Owens" challenge.

But seriously this is exactly what hobbyists hate. I do applaud all the participants in exposing this. Good work.
 
So I had a thought;
has anyone contacted the local reptile clubs and/or expo organizers in the general area?
I have no time to do it myself currently, with work production the way it is right now, but it may be something somebody could look into..
