• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I have spent 15-20 years establishing a PB leopard breeding group. My career is picking up and now I have kids so I have very little time. I stopped digging up eggs about 2 years ago. I easily would get 300 eggs per year from this group. The proven group is 13 tortoises (4 males and 9 females). These tortoises are weined to the outdoors in humid east texas and have been 100% outside year around for 5+ years with a heated house the go in and out of in winter. Some females are old and 16". Some females are younger at 10-12" but all are proven.

I also have some hold backs that are coming of size and age for breeding. 24 leopard tortoise. 4 are quite larget at 9 inches and the rest range in size at 6" plus or minus. They appear to all be female except 1 or 2 which is not surprising because I incubator at temps for females. I also have 40 leopards that are nearing a year old I will also include, unsexed.

I dont really know a good price for these 77 tortoises. Let me start with an asking price of $29k. Should be a 1-2 year pay back if they transition well and you are good at selling. I also have a PP group I plan to list when I get around to taking pictures.
