    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I had a group of 3 snakes, ball pythons, at this shop for breeding purposes and the owner had wanted to trade for 1 of my snakes, a male pastel ball python, we had discussed a few possible deals but never came upon an agreement. Well we got in to a disagreement (12/7/2012) over me wanting to return my snakes to my home he says he sold the snake in question above and I would never see anything for it and kicked me out of his shop with none of my snakes because he was closing up for the night, and said come get them the next day(12/8/2012). I assumed he was just saying that out of anger he had sold my snake. the next day I returned wanting to get my 3 snakes and he had not only sold the male pastel but when he got my snakes out he THREW them at me and proceeded to curse me out and told me "Get the F*** out of my store and don't f***ing come back", and then followed me to the car curse the driver(a friend of mine) out and threaten me with "You'll see whats coming to you mother f***er, you'll see." now I am here on 12/11/2012 and have access to the computer to file this boi report.
Also filed on the BBB website and soon on Bp.net and king snake
 
Why did the shop owner have your three snakes? I know you said "breeding purposes" but what does that mean, exactly?

Did he sell the male pastel or not?

Has he been notified of this thread?

Do you have anything at all you can post to back this story up? Emails, text messages, a written agreement between you two?
 
Not that I don't believe what you are posting, Justin ... but this "breeding agreement" that you originally entered into with this dude was all verbal? Was nothing sealed in writing - either through email, phone texts, paper agreement?
 
Breeding purposes meaning I took my snakes up there to show them to him and the subject of breeding and splitting the clutch came up so so I left them there. one thing I forgot to mention I was up there nearly every day from open to close working for close to nothing basically free snake food and crickets although this was fine with me though I was not an actual employee.

did he sell it? as far as i know yes he did he also could have been hiding it in the shop

as for proof the only thing i have to show that the snake is mine is a picture of in on my scales and in my rack other them that no real "proof" he was uncomfortable with a written agreement but also i have known this guy for a while now and thought i could trust him not to mention that i was "working" there before my snakes had been brought to the shop. so yes it was all verbal unfortunately so
 
What reason did he give you for not returning your snake or giving you anything for it? You have to know more than what you're telling us here.
 
This definitely sounds like a situation that will be hard to decide on who is good/bad or somewhere in between. Verbal agreements, with nothing in writing, make things incredibly difficult for any real proof to be posted.

The best we can hope for is that Larry will make an appearance and tell his side of the situation as it does sound a bit odd for a "good friendship/business relationship" to suddenly turn into a cursing/shouting/stealing match for absolutely no reason at all; at least from what was stated by the OP. :shrug01:
 
Did you file a police report? One for theft and one for being threatened?
 
Should NEVER of left the store that night. If your property is in the Store, You have the right to retrieve it regardless if hes closing or not.

Simple call to police he would of magically stayed open till they got there and you would of gotten your snakes! And then I guarantee all 3 would be in your possession.

Something dont add up as, I nor would anyone i know just accept come back tomorrow when your already there to get them.
 
So, to clarify Larry, you are saying that there were only two snakes in total that belonged to the OP at your shop and that both have been returned?

the reason my snakes were up there in the first place is because DJ asked me to bring my one of my 2 male pastels up there to breed and i had said i would. the other pastel the one you sold was brought up there because you originally produced this animal and had sold it to Tom your friend Tom then sold it to me, you had regretted selling it in the first place so you had wanted to trade me something for it so you could have it back i agreed that if you won an auction for a male 100% het piebald 66% ph albino from Kansas city reptile auctions on face book that we would trade snake for snake but you had never even placed a bid on that animal and told me the next day that we would work something else out and every time there after when i had told you something i would like for the snake you always had a smart ass comeback like"I bet you would like a laptop for that snake" or "I bet you would like to trade a fire for a pastel" instead of trying to work with me you constantly had something negative to say. I completely agree that there was never breeding agreement I simply came in to work one day to find my snake was not it the tote it was supposed to be in with my female het albino when I asked you about it I had thought it escaped and you had told me you put it in with one of your females. We had never discussed it until AFTER you already put one of my 2 males with one of your females. As for playing hookey... I never called and said I was sick my friend went up there to get bedding and I had wanted to take one of my snakes that night the larger of the 2 pastel males (not all three of the snakes 1.0 pastel 1.0 pastel het albino and 0.1 het albino) and you told me that you sold the pastel het albino and would never see anything thing for it lap top or cash. Then the next day I returned like you said to pick up the remaining snakes I had simply asked if you wanted me to take them or keep them at the shop and you got angry and went back to the back room threw my tote on the floor along with one of yours and "tossed" my 1.0 pastel and 0.1 het albino and repeated that I would never see anything for the other snake the 1.0 Pastel het albino , you proceeded to follow me to the truck I was riding in you told the driver "And don't you come back up here either, i hope your new bitch(calling me the bitch) was worth it", then you threatened me with " You'll see whats coming to you mother fucker, you'll see" we then left. Today 12/12/12 I did come up there with police because after the threat on 12/7/12 I felt to uncomfortable to come up there by myself to ask for the snake and the police report I filed was a civil dispute not theft. and you proved I had reason to be uneasy because as soon as you saw me and realized what was going on you then threatened me and i quote " Come any closer to my shop and I will beat your ass down in front of these police" end quote they never told me to leave you alone they said the best thing to do would to be to take further action and take you to small claims court and the assult charges i will be filing against you are justified as well I'm sure you will never let the police see the videos from when i was working there and all the times you hit me or put me in an arm bar or other submission hold.
As for me not knowing how to hatch eggs well that was not the case either, I never had a clutch of ball python eggs to try and hatch but I was well informed on the subject more so then you would like to give me credit for.
and i NEVER told the police you gave it back I said you gave TWO OF MY THREE SNAKES BACK AND THAT I BELIEVED THE THIRD WAS STILL IN YOUR SHOP YOU ALLOWED THEM IN TO INSPECT AND I DOUBT YOU SHOWED THEM THE ENCLOSER IT WAS IN!!
Also if you look at the date on my original post you will see it was before I came up there today with the police even though they never said to leave you alone

I never spoke with animal control I have not a clue where you get this idea from so they told me nothing, let alone to leave you alone and once again neither did the police

I as well was thought with the friendship we once had that you did not really sell my snake but obviously I was wrong

I believe i had full reason to" hide behind the computer" with multiple threats on my well being, constantly being "abused", and put into submissions. not very business like behavior if you ask me...
 
also I just noticed you said I was less then a foot away which is also false you were at least a few feet away and even if I would have been that close why would you not just hand the snakes to me rather then throwing them or "tossing" them?
 
Honestly neither of you are providing PROOF to back up your claims for either side.

If there is a police report filed...it would definitely support one side or the other if it was scanned and uploaded to support these allegations.
 
First it was just taking the snakes to show him, now it was taking the snakes for breeding because he asked you to.

Are we going to hear the full story from either of you? :shrug01:

UPDATE!! Last night on Sunday January 20th at about 9:49pm I was in my local gas station and the topic off this post"Larry Lee Clark" walks in to the liquor store and says to me "Look it's B**** boy" I disregarded it with yea whats up he says "don't whats up me b**** boy I"ll kick your ass" to which i disregarded with "Whatever" he then sucker punches me in the head and then again on the opposite side of my head I get in the car i was driving called the police and followed him out of the gas station while remaining on the phone with the police dispatcher till they pulled him over.

He was placed in handcuffs and in the back of a police car
after the police had let me leave i returned to the gas station at which the battery, as the police classified it, had taken place, to see if the cash register attendant would bear witness in the court of law as she seen and heard the whole thing but she was not available i return to my car when none other then Mr. Larry Clark pulls up. I get in my car and leave. Now today Monday the 21st of January my aunt went down to the gas station for her own reasons, and a different attendant that was not even in the store at the time (Also Mr Larry Clark's Girlfriend) Attempts to tell my aunt what happened though she seen and heard nothing she had told my aunt that I had started the whole situation.

Now if you notice he had threatened me some time before if you refer to previous posts of mine on this thread you will see what I am referring to.

Along with the false statements that Ms. Ashley Hogan (The girlfriend/absent gas station employee) she also stated that Mr. Larry Clark said that he would "Whoop my ass every time he sees me"
