Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Still waiting on these guys but candled two of them after opening the tub to check in.. Couldn't really get pics of any others because mom had no interest in budging. Can't say I blame her. ;) Any guesses as to what we're seeing in the wrinkled egg (pics 2 and 3)? I think it may be a long black stripe on a tail but your guesses are as good as mine. I wish they would hurry up and pip already. :p

We're up to day 60 now. My daughter's 7th birthday is tomorrow. It would be lovely if these hatched then. Fingers crossed! :D
 
well when you see pattern its a good sign as normals dont normally candle well so you dont see the pattern. im crossing my fingers for you as pieds are the best thing ever!!

The longest I've ever had to wait was 67 days. I really hope I don't have to wait a week longer!

Those pics are grainy and hard to make out but that black line was just bizarre when I saw it while candling. It floated from side to side as just a stark black line in there. I'm guessing it must be the tail (what else could it possibly be?). I wish they'd hurry up and pip!
 
Well you have me anxious here as well---I'm waiting on my clutch hoping to prove them out so I'm going to go out on a limb and say--- I see Pieds in the future for you! Sooon......so how about tomorrow...right?

I've been checking this thread hoping to see some really cute shots of baby pieds poking their little noses out of the eggs...COME ON!!! HATCH!!!!

We need a 'hatch dance'...

You and be both!! I've been checking two or three times daily but so far no pips. I candled all of them and there is hardly any wiggle room left. All the eggs look fine and are extremely soft to the touch. The babies inside are apparently just procrastinators. I had thought they would have hatched by this weekend but apparently that was wishful thinking. lol

If they still haven't hatched by Tuesday (that would be day 68 I think?) I may cut.
