In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I searched for an existing thread and couldn't find one so it's high time Laura Cox of Southern California gets kudos for being such a nice person to work with. She's the President of the Southern California Herpetology Society http://socalherp.org/ which I'm sure keeps her pretty busy, yet she's always available to answer questions or talk to.
Laura contacted me wanting to trade a pair of Peruvian BCC for a hypo I had available and she didn't have a problem shipping first. I just received the pair today and they are every bit as nice as I expected and even better than the pics provided. They arrived warm and cozy and very professionally packed. Now it's my turn to ship to her. I hope she's just as happy with my animal as I am with her Peruvians! Thank you very much Laura.

Wow!! Thanx Greg, this has been the best transaction that I've done on the net. You and your wife are a rare treat in this business and I'm so glad that my fussy little one's have found a great home. Thanx for the calls and the laughs!! Your new friend on the west coast!!

Laura Saved The Day!

By now many of you may be aware of the ten lot of Colombians I ordered from another source that turned out to be a scam. I had a local pet shop I had promised the animals to but couldn't deliver the goods due to no fault of my own. Laura had a female Colombian that dropped babies just a few weeks before that by this time were ready to go. With virtually no notice she helped me out by overnighting me 17 babies with no money down! Needless to say I am very grateful for her extraordinary effort to help me and I greatly appreciate this. It's nice to know there still are honorable and trustworthy people like her in this business. Thank you so much Laura.

Wow!!

I am so thrilled to have my second "good guy" post!! And I hope to have more once I get registered with fedX. Thanx Greg I am the eternal optimist and believe in the human spirit and you my friend, have a good soul and a great spirit!! The pleasure once again, has been mine!

AWESOME

I purchased some hypo colombian boas from Laura. They arrived packaged perfectly... She was a pleasure to deal with and followed through exactly as she said she would. The animals were exceptional, they were very healthy, all were feeding, and they had little flecking( very clean). I look for more quality boas from her in the future..She is a definite good girl who I would not hesitate to do business with again...

Great Gal

She came and purchased a boa I had for sale, she then came back and got my rack I also had for sale. She was a delight to speek to and do business with. Everything I have ever herd about her from anyone has been nothing but the best. How is the boa doing for you, any updated pics you could send me over?

Oh and question- Did you possibly loan a gentelman by the name of Toby one of those acrilic cages from the system? I saw him at a show and he was using one of those acrilic cages and now you are the only one I know of that has anything like it. Small world if so. Just thought I would ask.

Not a small world!

Thanx for all of the nice words, I'll be breeding the same female and male again for the 05 season and will hopfully get a great litter again.

Shanell, Miranda is doing awsome!! Toby is one of my closest friends and the ghost boa's he was selling are from the same litter as Jesse's hypo's.

If you're going to NARBC in September, stop by the SCHA booth and say hello!!

I definatly will

We will not be vending there but will be going to do some shopping!!! Toby is great and boy those ghost's were nice!! thought that may have been the same container after all. I am glad to hear she is doing great. we will see you in a couple weeks.

It's Been Way to Long

Since I've posted about my friend Laura Fopiano now complete with new name lol. Laura paid a visit to NH recently and was invaluable in assisting me with my first show. I really couldn't have done it without her experience and assistance. She was also my best customer at the show LMAO. I've sent five boas to her in the last week alone with one more to go. Gotta love those CA girls.

OK, and since we all know Laura has a heart of gold ... even when we disagree, I feel that this is a good place to call her out in public and ask her if this is a harkening back to her maiden name, a new marriage (some folks never learn), or just a whim ! What's it gonna be Miss (or Mrs.) Fopiana ? :)

Maiden name.....and it's Ms. Fopiano.....

Laura, your the best!!! The transaction was flawless and I couldn't have asked for more.

I look forward to working with you again real soon. :)

P.S.

Perhaps Rich can edit the title of this thread to match your name change?!?!? :raspberry

I have dealt with Laura twice now, both times I was the seller. She is just awesome to deal with!! She bought a Argentine black n white tegu from me first, and now a female ball python. Both times she was just awesome!! Super fast payment, and in constant contact. Laura gets a thumbs up from me, AAA+++ all the way!! :)

On Laura's behalf, I would ask the next individual to post a good experience with her to give thought to the idea of a new thread. I know Fauna protocol is to resurrect an existing "Good Gal" thread, but since the title of this one is still "Laura Cox .....", and she is now Ms. Fopiano, she may not get the most credit from it. A new thread would of course contain something like "Laura Fopiano ... best I ever ... :)" ..... you get the drift. Maybe include there that she was also earlier known as Laura Cox, so that those researching the new Laura could then find the old Laura ! I'm pinned in by a thunderstorm, BTW, and that is my excuse for the pointless post ! Well done Laura and Bobby.

I just love laura! shes a freakin Doll! ill back her 100% shes friendly, and easy to talk to, and is always seemingly available to talk with you about really... anything. ^_^ Chats with this honey are always a pleasure! A+!
