Inquiry Laura Fopiano and Bryon Adzic....can I finally get paid the money you owe me?

I have to say.....I do not miss the Fauna drama one bit. I left because I found myself tied up in petty and trivial stuff each day I was on here. Stuff that pulled me down because I, like so many, tried to play detective and out the next bad guy or worst yet.....tried to make a good guy look like a bad guy.

Bryon and I have worked out a deal that will satisfy his and Laura's obligation. It will require some sacrifice on his part and mine as well in order to bring this to an end. While 3 years is a long time to go without payment, 3 years is also a long time to go through hell which I do believe has happened for these two. I do not fault them for their circumstance but did/do for the lack of communication. I've learned to put myself in the others shoe's before commenting. While I have seen Fauna completely fail many times I have also seen it bring about resolution when the two parties involved remain level headed and committed to doing the right thing. This was my hail mary pass and thus far it appears that it is working.

Unfortunately, I still have one other guy who owes me a significant amount of money from 3 years ago as well (Bob Martin) but he has chosen to ignore all communications etc. Fortunately, he's only 10 miles from me and within the reach of the courts. He has chosen a completely different path then Bryon and Laura and will be handled differently.

Do not think ill of Bryon and Laura. They are two good people in a rough situation. I offered up a resolution that will both assist them during this time but also cause them to give up something they love. They did not hesitate to agree to the offer which speaks to their solid character. If things change I will come back. Otherwise, I believe we will have this resolved shortly.

Bob - I agree it shouldn't have been up to you to contact them. Your patience is second to none. I understand that you felt they ignored you but you just may have been forgotten. While that may not sound any better it is most likely what had happened. Reading Bryon's post you can see life sometimes get's in the way of things and throws you a curve ball (or two, or three, etc...).

Derek - Wrong thread for your discussion direction so please move along.

Randal - You are just out of line. You posted after Laura and Byron did so I'm only guessing you had to have read their posts, if not then your post is even more out of line.

I'm guessing you have never been in a pinch, had bad luck or medical troubles and gotten behind on your debts. Things like that are kind of like little fires. You try and put one out and another one shows up, then another. Before you know it you are surrounded whereas your only choice is to deal with the one fire in front of you in hopes of escape.

Though, unlike those little fires, debts would best "put out" by (pun intended) paying attention to all a little at a time versus the one at a time method so threads like this do not occur.

But by all means Randal, without any proof let's call someone a deadbeat for being the victim of circumstances that life seems to find everyone. Everyone, obviously other then you that is.

Greg - Hmm, what else can I say that hasn't already been said? Greg, you are alright.

John - Maybe the "usual cast of characters" are missing because they are sitting back to see what happens (or in my case I had not seen it because I was out of town). Your implication / comment like your first sentence will not make this situation get any better. Or do you just want to see two respected people in this trade get raked over the coals? It seems that you're not content seeing them just spin out but instead of hoping they'd get back on track you'd rather see them smack the wall and go up in a ball of flames.

Yes, Laura and Bryon should have handled this better and kept the communication lines open with Bob but they did not. Everybody knows this and they have admitted as much. They have now contacted Bob and will hopefully continue to do so. If not, I'm sure Bob will come back and inform us of such.

Bob - I'm glad it appears this is heading in a positive direction and that both parties are communicating as it should have been in the first place. I hope their situation changes soon so that they can get you all the monies owed to you. Hopefully this has only strained and not ruined the friendship between both parties.

I might be out of line for calling them deadbeats, however, my poit was both Byron and Laura were always quick to point out when someone else was a deadbeat.
Of course I've been in a pinch, had medical bill's etc. but I NEVER called anyone else out for being a deadbeat while I was having problems! I paid my debts and didn't post about others that haven't paid their debts WHILE I OWED PEOPLE.
I just find it ironic that both of those folks, (Byron and Laura) can judge/criticize others, while THEY have situations similiar to those they are passing judgement on.

We can agree to disagree on this one David.

I don't recall them doing this. Maybe they did but it certainly wasn't often. Laura had a similar problem with Bill Leverton and I believe they worked it out now someone's returning the favor IMO.
