I recently attended the East Texas Herpetological Society Show on September 30th, 2012. I wasn't looking to purchase anything, but when I came across Laura's table, I was blown away by the quality of her animals. I got a chance to talk to her about her animals and ended up picking up a Lesser male from her. It's been about three weeks since I've had him and he is perfect. He is mite/disease free and was eating live just like Laura had said. He was correctly sexed as well.
Laura is a great person to buy from because she actually cares about her snakes. I almost picked up an adult normal female from her and I was touched concerning the love she has for her animals. They all have names, all in very good health. She's a small-time breeder but she takes an interest in all her snakes, even her new hatchlings. She wants what's best for them. She's more concerned about their health than making a fast buck or two.
Not only does Laura care about her animals, but she cares about her customers too. I talked with her for over an hour and we discussed the snake I was getting as well as the snakes I already had and my breeding plans.
Overall, I rate Laura Rice as a great seller!
