    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm sorry that you find him credible or even marginally intelligent, and that you don't object to his nasty words & thuggish criminal & traitorous behavior. That tells me a lot, & I have to wonder where you get your "facts", not that it matters at this point, since you are holding fast to the illusion. trump is nothing but a corrupt con man, and you may be long-winded, Rich, but you're still wrong. Yeah anyone who votes for him second time around is a straight up fool after all the scandal and chaos he’s brought to the White House hiring and firing people who are completely unqualified for the position, I mean the guy literally still goes on about how the first president of African American decent is from Africa which is about the most racist thing you can say. The only reason he won is because the Dems ran with Hillary but you have gotta be nuts to think he’s doing us any favors. A rich man who is mad at the very system that got him rich?? Please, anyone who cares about this country and the environment should do everything in their power to oppose this president he’s absolute garbage and is literally paving the way for a kardashian president with these antics. It’s time we start caring again about professionalism and maybe military experience from our next president...
 
Well, unless I learn something different from what I believe now, I will be voting for Trump in 2020. Depending, of course, on who will be running against him. You are certainly welcome to consider me a fool as a result if Trump, in MY opinion, appears to be the best option available to me at the voting booth.

But personally, I believe that much of what you are referring to as "chaos and scandal" is the direct result of the "swamp" in Washington D.C. fighting back hard not to be drained. I doubt that any intelligent person really thought that Trump trying to do that was going to be an easy task. But then again, maybe a certain percentage of the US population is perfectly happy with what the "swamp" has been doing to us over the last several administrations. How far is this country in debt? Why have so many manufacturing jobs left this country? Why have we become nearly owned by China? When was the last time you saw ANYTHING "Made in the USA"? Need I go on? You seriously cannot think that this country could continue along on the path it has been traveling. We have been headed towards a bankruptcy wall on an express train with no brakes.

I fail to see how anyone cannot see that this country was headed in the wrong direction and an abrupt change was without any doubt, absolutely needed. Not later on, but RIGHT NOW. Hiring the same kind of people guaranteed to do the same kind of job and expecting such a needed drastic change from them is, well, in my opinion, just a textbook case of insanity.

Heck, everything Trump does certainly doesn't please me. And I never expected such when I voted for him. But I felt he was the best choice for this country, and still do. If I feel differently in 2020, then I will certainly vote based on my opinion at that time. Or if none of the options appear palatable, simply decline to cast a vote at all.

I do hope you are able to lift yourself out of this misconception you suffer from. The universe just does not revolve around you nor your opinions.

And I believe I have been plain about my opinion of folks who outright advocate the assassination of the president of the USA. Pretty sad bunch, really.

Plenty of countries in the world that would like nothing better than for the US of A to fall off our pedestal, as we now deserve to do, with low-lifes elevated to public office. And sadly, plenty of our richest citizens can't wait to take even more from everyone who has less, with no regard for what it does to our country. That's what is truly sad...that they are wanna-be oligarchs.

This POTUS is not draining the swamp, he's the best-ever at turning it into a toilet.
And he is setting a new LOW standard of behavior that turns my stomach: just the latest was a WH staff member saying (of McCain) "oh he's dying anyway!" No matter WHAT your opinion of John McCain is, that is NO way to talk...but you can't criticize the WH staff when they're only doing as the 'boss' does.

I just think that more people voted AGAINST Hillary Clinton than voted FOR Trump, I can only hope that there will be a better opposition candidate next time and people might actually get to vote for someone they WANT, and who might be even slightly qualified to hold the post.

I don't care much for Trump at alland based on his extremely poor behavior have very little respect for him; I think he is a substandard president in many ways, and I would not compare Rich to him. I've never even once seen Rich post anything racist or misogynistic and I've read thousands of his posts; and he certainly seems fair in how he handles issues here. I agree with his outlook on many things, but we differ significantly in political outlook.

And yes, I'm sorry for saying that, it's not what I want to believe about you Rich, but what I meant by that, is that we "are" what we allow & stand up for. At the end of the day, I don't like loud-mouth bullies no matter how big their "playground" is...it's not funny, it's not entertaining, it's not dignified, it's not good for our nation, & at the end of the day, trump's nasty, indecent treatment of people just reflects poorly on the office of the president, & reflects poorly on our country in the eyes of the world. I'd like to think we're better than this as a nation...but these days, I have to wonder. If you stand by & pretend that the bad behavior you see is OK, then I still have to say, you "own" it.
Perhaps we'll just have to stick to talking about snakes & such...?
 
Truly it’s all a difference in opinion democrats focus more on the youth and republicans focus more on the retired folks. As a younger American during Obama’s presidency he helped me in a time that was made very hard for recent college grads during the recession. I imagine it did put a burden on folks over 40 but I’m not sure a lot of America realized how challenging it was for recent college grads to find gainful employment when the economy was down. Every place wanted 2-5 years of experience and most jobs didn’t pay enough to live outside of your parents home with the cost of college and the student loans we had to incur as a result. I believe a lot of the disconnect comes from neither members of each generation being able to agree on what is the best move for America. Truth be told if immigrants can take your job you need a better job, this country (as the population grows) will shift from a manufacturing hub to a technology and information hub and we have an obligation to make sure our children can survive the shift. A business man with a foul mouth is not the best republicans can do you all should demand better and I find it quite sad that the vast majority of trump supporters seem to be quite content with a candidate who does nothing but piss off the opposition. There’s better options you just need to demand it and if you’re sticking with trump because “he’s the best you got” then I really think you need to reflect a bit more because all signs currently point to him being a disaster and quite possibly a traitor. Maybe first demand the man’s tax returns at the very least...
 
Is the president of the USA publicly providing a copy of one or more of his tax returns a requirement of holding that office? If not, it's really no business of anyone else. I wouldn't give a copy of my tax return, neither, to anyone who asked. I don't have anything to hide, it's just not anyone else's business.

Perhaps Donald Trump is smart enough to realize that no matter how benign that document may be, the liberal left "fake news" media would surely FIND something to take issue over. So again, if he doesn't have to, he would be a fool to do so just to provide the swamp with some other molehill to blow up into a mountain.
 
I hope that in the future, we may see some rules changed for transparency from our presidential candidates. I "agree" that I wouldn't want to wave MY tax returns all over the place either, but there are VERY good reasons for that practice from presidential candidates, as you well know, Rich. It's demonstrates their connections are above-board, that they aren't a security risk by being indebted to the wrong people, etc. In the future, I also think presidential candidates should be required to pass a thorough background check for a TS+ clearance. It makes NO sense that all those around the POTUS must have clearances, but not the POTUS. That's absurdly risky for our nations...as we can all clearly see now.

trump may love to reject all the "norms" of the office, but I believe we'll see there's a LOT more to it than him just not wanting to provide "ammunition" for his opponents. And...why oh why does he ACT so GUILTY? like a person with mountains of stuff to hide? I may be too cynical, Rich, but methinks you're awfully trusting. Besides that, trump promised to release his taxes...and it's well-proven that he lies almost constantly, something we have NEVER seen before. Surely you cannot be proud of him for that???
