Apparently her father IS still alive. And she DID own the "Laura" FB page that was changed. And it's obvious that the child is a compulsive liar who can't be trusted on ANYthing she says.

I honestly believe her apology is as sincere as she can make it...but that sincerity comes out of her fear and regret of being caught in her lies, and not from any real sense of wrong doing.

I feel a great deal of pity for her. I do believe there are deep psychological issues going on here that she needs to get the proper help for. Whether this help will ever be sought is probably not for us to ever know.

Laura...or whatever your real name is....there IS a better world out there. Better than your own fantasies of it, because it is REAL. Yes, the real world involves pain and disappointment...but it is through those that we come to appreciate the true joys that life has to offer. Please...leave these games and go get the help you need.

Morgan does not know Laura, and Laura has said before in the past to me. I wish I didn't block her on myspace, I'm not good at myspace, I never use it since FB is well, better. Haha. But she stated she'd tell Morgan on Monday at school.

Kind of hard to believe since Morgan doesn't know who Laura is.

This person has told people that we had met, I guess to give her some credibility. She even went so far as to say we had sex, and that I could possibly be the father of her twins. Of course it is all false, but I want people to know this. This person has done a lot of damage to me and my reputation with their lies, all because I started to question some of her stories. The extreme temper of her when she gets caught in something, tells me there is no limit to what they will say or do. Anybody talking to this person, use extreme caution and do not believe anything she tells you. I've seen her apology to me bofore in open chat, see where that got me.

The whole "fauna patrol" line from you is wearing pretty thin. Who is this patrol you are referring to? Most of the BOI regulars don't participate in chat...and a large portion of the chat group isn't active on the BOI. What "friends" of Lena's do you want to comment?

The only thing that bothers me is that trusted people on this site claimed from the beginning to know, and or be related to "Lena".

So are there other fake accounts, or were trusted people on this site helping?

I'm also curious about the "trusted people" referred to here, and what you think was done wrong by them.

BUSTED - Thats all I got to saying about this.

"Lena Nicole," sent me a friend request on FB after she saw me post something on Heath's wall. I ignored her request, I didn't like her just by the few things Heath had told me. And one day I commented on one of Heath's status', and again, right after I did, I got another friend request from "Lena Nicole."

Also another one of Heath's friends, I will not say her name, posted on his wall, and soon after got a friend request from "Lena Nicole."

To me shes just a nosy, complusive lying kid who needs help, and doesn't need to be near the internet. Im sure after a few weeks she will start all this back up again somewhere else.

Lena, Laura, Jordyn, who ever you are, you need to enjoy your life, because when you become an adult, things get harder. And yeah, having a family (a husband/wife, kids) is great and dandy, but it does not come easy. People struggle every day to keep their life and their family safe and together. The world is not easy on a family.

You need to enjoy not having a family for the while, dont worry, Im sure you will have a family of your own at some point in your life (that is, if you can ever control your complusive lying).

Trust me on this: NO MAN WANTS TO MARRY OR HAVE A FAMILY WITH A FAKE LIER.

Hopefully you can get the help you need, because you do need it if you hope to have a future with a family in it.

Wow, this is all too much!

For those of you who don't go into fauna chat, the people and relationships developed there are extremely deep and emotional. I love my fauna chat friends and they have walked me through some of my darkest moments, from health issues to relationship, marriage, divorce, and the best reptile deals ever!

I didn't really get to know Lena, Laura, or who ever she decided she wanted to be. We can't get into chat or some unknown reason our IP won't allow it and I'm still trying to solve that one.

Heath, you're a good guy and have always been a wonderful friend to me and Bry. I remember congratulating you on your new status on FB and that's when I got a friend request from her. No harm as she posted nonsense I ignored. I even told her to ST*U when her and D were going at each other.

I'm really sorry for those who got hurt in all of this as I do know how it feels to be duped. Bry and I went through that stuff with Michael Shoemaker...nuff said there.

Time and distance will heal this wound and make the rest of you stronger.

She has tried to start crap from the get go with everyone. A few of us pointed it out.. no one cared because she was "so sweet and nice".

I am not shocked that everything was BS.. I AM shocked to learn of the extent. After hearing about this a bit ago, I too did some digging up.. (not as extensively as Dee.. dang girl!!!) and saw some crazy things that "lena" had said on other sites..

just the other day in chat, she claimed an acorn, came from an acorn tree.. then I go and see a site, where she types a full page, of clearly written, precise, and logical conversations etc.

As others have posted, yes, she tried adding me numerous times on FB.. I declined them every time, she even pm'ed me in chat complaining that I wouldn't add her..

If I recall (I will have to get a hold of the person that told me this) at one point she claimed she even met one of the people from fauna (doesn't matter who) at a reptile show, and he supposedly got so jealous that he screamed at her, flailing his fists around, and she was afraid he was going to beat her, blah blah blah.. Yet oddly enough, she continued talking to him like he was her best friend.. hrmmmm

Again.. just like the Wises (which I DID fall for) a "nice" person comes around, so people over look those red flags. We have a natural desire to want for people to be good.. so we convince ourselves they are.

People that I consider friends here, have even gotten mad at me, for not being "nicer" to her.. they would always say she was young, naive, but super sweet, and I shouldn't be so hard on her. (anyone that has been in chat with her can get a basic idea of the things I am talking about)..

I hope that things can get figured out. Either way, this person needs help.. If it is a personality disorder, or just a troll that is getting their jollies off.. they need help.

I know that none of this is really pertinent.. but I did want to point out, as a couple others have, that there were red flags from the get go.

According to the post below.... she used her real name on the original Italianlnm username that she used to pass herself off as the blond that she stole the photos from.

Looks like her second account was just a backup account... and not really her.

I really hate to do this. I gave her my word I wouldn't repeat anything she said to me, so what I'll say is minimal. Sorry, Laura. You can't keep secrets like this.

I text "Lena" asking her what was going on or some form of that, wanting to know answers. She got online, added me on MySpace where she swore her name was Jordyn. After asking for proof with her holding a piece of paper with my name on it she conjured up a photo of a photo with a scrap of small paper with my name on it. It was obviously fake. So I called her out.

After a lot of ensuring her I wouldn't do what I'm doing, and I feel sooo bad for doing this... she finally opened up and revealed this:

Her name is Laura Nicole Mims.
She was born in April/1993.
She is a minor.
I also have a photo of her license for proof of ID.

And again, my heart is racing typing this out. I really don't like to go against my word... I've been holding my tongue for the last three hours and in my eyes that makes me just as guilty. This should be posted here for all to see. Including her father and brother, to which I contacted.

I've been talking to her for the last few hours and I feel she is truly sorry and would like to start over (or so she says). I'm by no means dismissing her actions. She deserves whatever comes her way.

I'm sorry Laura. Please do not contact me again. And please do get some help. I know under all of this mess is a young woman waiting to break free and start new. But you've lied to me today more than you have the whole time I've known you up until the point you told me your name was Laura.
