Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

WENN- Leonardo DiCaprio is set to welcome a new member into his household. He reportedly bought a $400 tortoise after attending a reptile event in California over the weekend.

The "Titanic" star enjoyed a day out at the North American Reptile Breeders Conference and Trade Show in Anaheim with his "Inception" co-star Lukas Haas on Saturday.
 
What kind of tortoise costs around 400 bucks? I dont really follow tortoise prices but I'm kinda curious what he got :)
 
Yeah was thinkin something like that too probably. I am bummed I missed him! I left about an hour before he got there from what I hear. :mad:
 
I was vending and didn't see him. The booth he was pictured at was near the front and he probably didn't stay long. Heard he picked up a 10 year old sulcata, but don't recall seeing one at that booth.
 
I overheard Bar wanting to go to the store to see more. He probably just payed for it at the show. They didn't have any torts at the booth.
 
Ah cool cool. I think those are those big ol critters I've seen at Prehistoric before it turned "zoo".
 
Leonardo is one of the best high profile people we have around championing our cause for herpetoculture.
He also does a lot of work with other wildlife species, especially mammals.
