    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Leopard Gecko Housing

Hey everyone I have been doing a lot of research lately on housing and have been looking at proven breeders care sheets etc and it seems to me that everyone has a different way of housing there geckos I see some use glass aquariums and I also see some people using 12 quart plastic containers but wanted to know what do you think is best for the geckos id prefer to get a plastic container for them over a glass aquarium but wanna know what you think would be the better choice and why? if you dont mind explaining.

it honestly depends on how you want to keep them. i have nearly 300 leos so rack systems are much better for me. if you have just a few, glass aquariums will work just fine as well. if you are wanting to display one or a couple of leos, then a tank would be great.

Cool

Yea I was thinking about doing a small tank but dont really know yet if thats what I really wanna get but its between a tank yet or a plastic container I just want one gecko for now but know that I will want more in the future but I wanna see what everyone has to say before I go and buy a tank or plastic container

I think most keepers use tubs for multiple geckos. That way we can keep them in a rack- don't have to take a lid off each time and more critters fit in less space. If you want just one leo then a glass tank is probably best for you. IMO
