Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

hey i have a female leo that at like 20 wax worms and like 7 super meals worms
but her body got fat but her tail hasent an its been 3 days
is this a problem
or is it cause she is gravid an is usin it for her eggs or it she suposed to get a fat tail even if she gravid
cause my other two adults got fat in both there tail an body
wut is rong or is this normal
 
Fat build up in the tail will take more than one good feeding. She sounds bloated and full.  Keep her fed well like this for a long time and the tail will get fat.  These things dont happen over night and you must be in it for the long haul.

If you want to get some weight back onto those guys...you should try just feeding super worms or meal worms and/or crickets...they are very good for your leo if they are gutloaded well. Wax worms on the other hand carry too much fat to be good for the leos and therefore only give them empty calories...its almost like you going on a diet of 20 twinkies a day and only 10 chicken nuggets <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>  Sure you plump up...but its not very healthy and it may be worse for your geckos in the long run. If you want to know a few *cheap* gutloading tricks (you can ask me...I used to not be able to afford all the really good stuff to put in gutload...so I improvised) please e-mail me and I'll give you some of the tricks that I used....also, I might be able to help you to get some serious weight back on them.  One of my girls was impacted for a little while....after I cleared it up though and she started eating again for me...she gained about 14 grams in a week and 5 days <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>...Good luck and please...feel free to ask for help if you should need it
